I never felt rushed. He always took the time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. I really did feel like I was his only patient when I was sitting there with him. Before surgery, he explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions. One of the things that also gave me confidence in choosing him was knowing that his practice is focused specifically on facial plastic surgery. When you are trusting someone with your face, that kind of specialized focus meant a lot to me. He told me the surgery would be a long one because he is a perfectionist, and after seeing the care he took and my results, I completely believe it. I also really liked the three videos on his website explaining exactly what a deep plane facelift is. I knew I wanted to understand what was actually going to be done, not just hear the words "deep plane facelift." After watching those videos, I felt so much more knowledgeable about the procedure and even more confident that Dr. Bhanot was the surgeon I wanted. I had an extended deep plane facelift, deep plane neck lift, and upper and lower blepharoplasty, so this was not a small decision for me. Choosing the right surgeon was incredibly important. My post-op care has been wonderful too. The instructions were clear, the follow-up visits never felt rushed, and any concern I had was taken seriously. I had absolutely no bruising, which still amazes me, and the incisions on my face were done so beautifully that they were barely noticeable even while I was healing. Carrie, my nurse, has been wonderful. She is so knowledgeable, sweet, patient, and easy to talk to. When you are going through facial surgery and recovery, it means a lot to have someone you feel comfortable asking questions. Another thing that meant a lot to me was how cared for I felt throughout the entire process. Facial surgery is a huge leap of trust, and I never felt like just another patient being moved through the office. If I had a question or concern during recovery, I felt listened to and taken seriously. That gave me a tremendous amount of confidence, both before surgery and while I was healing. What I love most about my results is how natural I still look. I still look like me -- just a much more refreshed version of me. Dr. Bhanot managed to erase 20 years from my face without making me look pulled, tight, or like a different person. After 8 months, I am extremely disappointed with both my experience and my results. I had a breast lift with implants, and I am unhappy with the results of both. My biggest concern was my left breast. I had the same problem after a previous surgery, with the breast extending toward my left armpit. I specifically told the doctor I did NOT want this to happen again. He reassured me that the implant would not go toward my armpit and told me not to worry. Unfortunately, after surgery, I have the same problem again. This is extremely upsetting because this was something I specifically discussed with him and was promised would not happen. I was also told during my consultation that I would not need a drain for my tummy tuck. On the day of surgery, I was told I would have one. After the tummy tuck, I also developed small dog ears at the ends of the incision, which I am unhappy with. I am also unhappy with my tummy tuck and liposuction results. The right side of my abdomen does not match the left side, and the liposuction on my back near my right buttock left what looks like a large indentation. I am also unhappy with the results of the fat transfer under my eyes. What has been especially disappointing is the lack of access to the doctor after surgery. When I asked to see him about my concerns, I was made to wait in the room for more than an hour and a half. When I finally saw him and tried to ask questions about my results and concerns, he walked out while I was speaking. I felt completely disrespected and ignored. I paid a significant amount of money for these procedures, and after 8 months I am still very unhappy. The old " Bait and switch" The price should have been between $5549 (including one hour of anesthesia) and $6149 (including the additional anesthesia). I would have happily paid that, but $8,200. He is a talented plastic surgeon who did an outstanding job. He took a round hole and turned it into a longer scar which he moved closer to my jaw line so that it would appear more natural. It has healed very well and people who have seen the before and after can't believe it. He even managed to save my beard by ensuring the scar didn't interfere too much with the natural hair growth!
