I had to call them again to resend it 2 days before the surgery. When Dr. Arevalo called me back on the day before my surgery, he made me feel like I was not a valued patient, and I was wasting his time. He scolded me for asking him a simple question. I wanted to know what would have caused the problem for my tooth to become infected. This was important to me because I did not get to ask him directly during the first visit one month earlier. I had a surgery scheduled with him the following day and his demeanor and tone made me feel totally uneasy about having him work on me. He said very arrogantly "I told you already last time! I was taken back by his response and apologized for asking. I tried to express that I did not recall asking the question or getting an answer from him. I told him that I did not appreciate his response and demeanor especially since I was scheduled with him for surgery the next morning. He said, "I don't care" "I don't need you to waste my time." I told him that I would be leaving him a review about the unprofessionalism and his response was "I don't care!" This man may have a degree and license, but has no respect for people or professionalism. I do not recommend anyone go here so that they don't have to experience this terrible service that I did. It is worth any distance to drive unless you're near by then great. I had the X-ray things done and had everything everything explained to me as far as what was going on. Please young people please take care of your teeth so this does not have to be an incident for you. But again, if you need to have one come here. Staff are very kind and friendly. The place is clean which it should be. Pain control was taken care of during the procedure. I looked like a chipmunk but at least there was no pain. Tylenol worked fine afterwards. The matching for my bite was perfect. This is a hidden gem and I located them at first on the Ameritus Dental website. Parking is more spacious in the back but some handicapable spaces in the front. If your a dentist then don't hesitate to refer patients here. They will treat your patients with the best care and respect. I never want to come back but if I ever need to I will come here.

I ended up paying $200 out of pocket and I was quoted $1300 for a root canal to fix my tooth. I ended up finding a different endodontist within network and I had to get another scan done anyway (yay) turns out it was needed because Dr.Munoz at Vaughn endodontics completely misdiagnosed my very obviously cracked tooth. So not only did he make me think my tooth could be saved but he was not sure when this other doctor could see if from the scans I got done the second time! Don't come here, they will not check if you're in network and their scanners are outdated and don't catch fractures in the tooth. They dutifully take a lot of x rays of your teeth, the full mouth scan and then they place you in a room, alone with images of what they have scanned. It took me a while to realize that what I was looking at was my mouth because my teeth looked absolutely terrible. They use some kind of weird lighting trick to make your teeth look very yellowed. My teeth are not that horrible and are nice to look at. I wrote on their sheet that I was overall pleased with my smile. Then after viewing that screen for a while, about four females came into the room and said I had heavy bone loss and their clinic couldn't even do a routine cleaning. They wanted to refer me to a bone specialist like the specialist could restore my bones! They also talked about dentures and I flat out told them, I would NOT be receiving dentures. Oh, and another thing. At the end of the visit, they give you a looooong list of things you can buy or procedures you can have done to your mouth. I looked at the final cost and it was about four thousand dollars. Yup! You read that right. I will never return.
