Matt helped us buy our first condo, and gave us lots of information that we didn't know to help make the whole process easy and as stress free as possible. He is knowledgable about the city and was great at negotiating on our behalf. When we had to relocate for work, we knew we wanted to sell our place with Matt, and we are so grateful that we did. He gave us honest advice about what we needed to do, and was more than accommodating as we moved across the country and dealt with all the other stresses that came with that. We essentially gave him our keys on the day of our flight and he took over from there. He was always there if we needed to reach him and made two potentially stressful experiences very easy. We got Mikes name from friends of ours that Mike sold their condo in the first week, LUCKILY for us…read morewe got his name. I knew that probably would not happen for us. We had two agents come out to give us their opinions on what to fix/paint etc. The first guy just walked quickly through, telling us not to sink anything into "this price point". No, it's not a million dollar condo, but it's nice, and we loved it for our starter home in a great neighborhood. Mike came in, and treated us and our condo just like someone that cares should. He took lots of pictures, studied the neighborhood, told us what we needed to fix, and what was in good shape. His wife does staging for homes. He brought all the pictures to her to get her expert opinion. We took her advice, (that was great), they staged it for us beautifully!! All while we are now living out of town. Mike went above and beyond to help us while we couldn't be there. He was always available if we had questions or concerns. It seems like he just really cares. Well, Mike sold my friends condo in a week, like I said. Never thought we would be so lucky. Mike sold ours before he even listed it on the MLS!!! WHAT??!! We are so grateful to him, and would recommend him in a heartbeat! Thank you, Mike and Becky!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!…read more I was referred to Mike because of his expertise in the Chicago area, specifically the northern and northwestern suburbs. As a first-time home buyer, I was nervous about getting a realtor who was more concerned about selling me a home, than helping me find the perfect home and because of that, I'm glad we found Mike. Mike is not a realtor who is just looking to sell, but he wants to make sure his clients find the home that is right for them, even if it takes more time. During our search, Mike walked through houses with us and pointed out issues, that we would not have otherwise seen. If we had concerns about a property, or wanted to know more about the history, Mike was very quick to get us answers. I know several other people who have used him and they all recommend him as well. If you are looking for a realtor who is familiar with the area and knows what to reasonably expect from the market, Mike is your guy. I will definitely be using him again in the future.

From our first meeting with him, he walked us through his approach and really took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking for in our next home. We also appreciated when he stated that his goal was to help us not only find our next 'home' but also a place that would be a solid investment for the future. Jonathan was always willing to educate us throughout the homebuying process, and I can honestly say that he made the experience fun - always having a hilarious joke or random interesting story. In every showing we went to, he was so great about sharing a new tip on things to look for in a good place/watch out for, and he always came prepared with data and comps to give us a complete picture of each property. He approaches his work so analytically and is data driven with identifying places and understanding the market - it definitely made us confident in deciding on our place. He also helped us put together the rest of our 'dream team' (lender, lawyer, inspector, designer) that made home buying process seamless. Even the "stressful" parts of negotiating and closing weren't bad at all because he was engaged and made sure everything went smoothly. At the end of it, he negotiated a great deal on our place for us below asking price. We couldn't recommend a better person to go through the homebuying experience with. Thank you Jonathan!
