Other reviews have mentioned that he tracks down great prices, I recommend Patrick for that reason alone, yet what I appreciate more and more through the years is the warmth and attentive service that I've experienced as he and his wonderful assistant Joanna have met our needs. In addition to Patrick's kind, effective insurance service; his connections are incredibly vast, extending into a unique network of trustworthy professionals throughout the county and beyond (all who usually mention how much they appreciate Patrick). He's gone out of his way more than once to introduce me to someone he knows who happens to be just the expert I needed to help me through challenges, even in matters outside of insurance. In Southern California's unprecedentedly volatile insurance markets, Direct Service Insurance is an invaluable resource to myself and my family. Though designed to protect and keep us safe from life's uncertainties, insurance may not always feel comforting, but Patrick and Joanna at Direct Service will guide and assure you. Not only are they easy to reach, they will reach out to you when you need them to. Patrick and Joanna are kindly souls who offer excellent, efficient, experienced insurance service. Less than a week later, the earthquake hit, and roof tiles fell from my home onto the roof, windshield, and hood of the car. Guess what Mr. Garvin told me? "Hey, it's your fault, I told you to drive over here and have us take pictures. No pictures, no coverage." It was a hard time for all of us, and the car was not my only concern. I ate the $3,000.00 bill and cancelled with them immediately! I was a customer of theirs for ten years with only a comprehensive claim for a windshield before this. I should have gone straight to the insurance commissioner, but with a severely damaged home and business, I had no time for that. If that's how they stand behind their good customers and back them up, I wanted nothing more to do with their company, and neither should you. Ten years of commissions and they wouldn't even make a call to Mercury Insurance on my behalf. I know this was 20 years ago, but I was cruising through Yelp and their name popped up! I had to give my true experience with them. Don't take the chance, some things never change!
