Most of my dealings are with Cari Kirk, but the whole team is pretty phenomenal, they've handled a TON of car purchases and when I bought my condo they were my go to for HOA insurance. The broker that we were previously using for the last 20 years sold and we really wanted to use another broker that was local. We started looking and found Quigley insurance and loved that they were local to Camarillo. I called the office this morning and the receptionist will be the reason I will not be going with this company. She told me that for commercial insurance I would need a million dollar coverage for my company and that is what most jobs require. Let me be very clear, I have had this company for over 15 years, I have never been asked from ANY job site that my COMMERCIAL auto insurance needs to be a million. My company general liability, YES. I tried explaining this to the receptionist but her attitude was obviously too much in the way. I even tried to explain to her that a million would be required for hazardous waste or depending on the weight of the vehicles. NOPE, million no matter what. Second, I explained to her that I ran the numbers for progressive online but wasn't sure what my limits needed to be. I further explained that I haven't done this online before but always use a broker and that I want to use a broker to double check that my limits are ok. I explained again, that I typically do $300,000 and she continues to tell me that I need a million (see above) and then the 30/60/15. She said she would never recommend 30/60/15 and I went on to explain that we just lost everything, are just trying to stay afloat here. I give up with this. What a waste of time and attitude. If you want this much attitude and million dollar coverage, this is your company.
