When I called ENT Specialists, PC, I mentioned that she had no health insurance. I was told to pay $300 at check-in and was referred to billing for an estimate. Billing estimated $178. The removal itself went smoothly and took less than 30 seconds. On our way out, I asked about the difference between the $300 payment and the estimate. The receptionist said the extra amount would be credited to my card. A week later, however, I received a notice saying I owed another $50. When I called, the person who had given me the estimate explained that it had not included office charges. I paid the additional amount. My advice to uninsured patients: get the estimate in writing and ask whether it includes every charge, including office charges. I would not TRUST ANY verbal estimate received.

He voluntarily gave up those privileges in Iowa as a result. These are facts that can be independently verified. Dr Finley's primary concern at this time seems to be promoting whatever drug the pharmaceutical companies have provided samples for, or bought the office lunch in exchange for promotion. He has actively discouraged me from discussing prescription changes with my psychiatrist. He has gone out of his way to invalidate my opinions, to the point of visibly rolling his eyes when I expressed an preference for 30 day prescriptions instead of 90 day prescriptions.
