When I called ENT Specialists, PC, I mentioned that she had no health insurance. I was told to pay $300 at check-in and was referred to billing for an estimate. Billing estimated $178. The removal itself went smoothly and took less than 30 seconds. On our way out, I asked about the difference between the $300 payment and the estimate. The receptionist said the extra amount would be credited to my card. A week later, however, I received a notice saying I owed another $50. When I called, the person who had given me the estimate explained that it had not included office charges. I paid the additional amount. My advice to uninsured patients: get the estimate in writing and ask whether it includes every charge, including office charges. I would not TRUST ANY verbal estimate received.

So to summarize: Ear Specialists negotiates a cut rate with Blue Cross to get the benefits of being an in-network provider. They then pass the cost of that agreement along to patients, which in every circumstance requires patients to pay out of pocket for hearing aids. Ear Specialists have this scheme. the claims specialist had never heard of any other in-network providers using similar contract schemes to recover the discounts they agree to provide beneficiaries.

Dr. Dobleman's nursing and office staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Doberman was amazing! He was very detailed on what his surgical procedure would be for my son, and he listened to my concerns for his nose and a few other ENT concerns. He was gracious enough to squeeze my son in on his already busy week of surgery. I would highly recommend this doctor for anyone's future ENT needs!

Parking is crowded, but one can usually find a reasonable spot. Extra care is provided for those who don't walk or need special care to approach and enter. This business is on the second floor and there is an elevator. I go to get allergy shots once a week, in the hope of attenuating them to a reasonable level. So far, so good. The staff and the doctors I've seen have been very good and very friendly. It's a big bonus. Obviously, I'll be back over and over again. :)

To get them to call you, the patient, back is worse than pulling teeth. Two and a half weeks for a call back is extreme, unprofessional and uncalled for. My daughter was supposed to have tubes put in and he shows up 2 hours late for the procedure. If we would show up even 5 minutes late for an appointment we would be told oh sorry you are late you need to reschedule but he can show up when ever you feels like it. My time is valuable too. I was referred to Dr. Sjulin from my primary care Dr. That practices out of Methodist, why wouldn't…read morehe refer me to a Methodist ENT doctor confused me but that's okay I like DR. Sjulin, hopefully my time with him is almost up, I've been battling with strep throat since the beginning of this year and Dr. Sjulin just did a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, on me earlier this week. I have seen him 2 times prior to my surgery and liked him both times. He was very honest from the start, and did not pressure me one way or another to get the tonsillectomy done. Who knows if it was Dr. Sjulins magical medical skills or just luck but, the second time I saw him was the last time I had strep before having my surgery and I am pretty sure that was the longest time I went without having strep, after I saw him for it. The day of my surgery went well, I was a little annoyed and anxious before my surgery even with all the medication I was on to relax me because my surgery time was scheduled for 10:40 am and I did not get taken to the surgery room until 11:30, nobody told me they were running behind and so I was laying in the bed all set up for about an hour, and I'm a little OCD about being on time, but I know sometimes there isn't much you can do about it especially in a hospital. Before my surgery Dr. Sjulin came in to see me and asked if I had any questions, I said no and from what I remember it was a pretty quick visit, i was on a lot of medication so I really can't remember very well. That was the last time I saw him. I know after my surgery he went to talk to my parents, and he explained everything to them, and what to expect, and the best way to take all my prescriptions I would be getting. I will see him one more time, for my follow up appointment, and even though I really like him, I hope it is the last time I have to see him, but if I ever need an ENT doctor in the future I will be sure to see Dr. Sjulin.

Dr. Gary Moore walked in with a student doctor, did not introduce him nor ask my daughter if it was ok he be there. Mind you, he has been my daughter's Ear doctor for many years now. He didn't shake her hand or give her a very warm welcome as he usually does. He looked in her ear and said no infection and that the prothesis he put in her ear had fallen apart and that she needs a hearing test/CT scan. My daughter explained how her health insurance doesn't start until January. I (her mother) was trying to understand why no payment plan is offered. Dr. Moore then said: I don't know any doctor that takes payment plans. I explained how our other caregiver offers payment plan and he said: Well then why don't you go there? He then proceeded to hurry out of the room (My daughter still in his chair in pain and feeling dizzy). I then asked him if he is in this line of work to help people or if he's in it for the money? Dr. Moore then put his finger toward my face as he's halfway out of the room and said: You! I'm done with you! Then he left. My autistic daughter who was with us is now having nightmares about doctors. Says she doesn't trust doctors now. Ended up taking my daughter in pain to Urgent Care the next morning where she was diagnosed with Chronic Sinusitis. Spending another 150 for that visit. So in total Dr. Gary Moore cost us 300 for an office visit to get her seen. Not to mention the 100 dollars in medication she desperately needed. In conclusion, I have tried to reach Dr. Gary Moore's manger at Central Plains and have received no call back. I feel Gary Moore needs to retire if this is the way he is going to treat a long time patient. There is a P.A. in that office named Taylor and she is great! I DO NOT recommend Gary Moore!
