Very "memorable" experience…read more I booked my appointment months in advance and confirmed when prompted. Somehow, the appointment was changed to another date after my confirmation -- with no call, no explanation, and no notice. Impressive system. I drove nearly two hours in snowy weather and arrived on time, only to be told my appointment no longer existed that day. When I calmly showed proof and tried to explain, the staff's response was eye-rolling, visible impatience, and zero effort to help resolve an error that was not mine. I was left feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and frankly uncomfortable. I can't say why I was treated that way, but it's hard not to wonder whether appearance or background played a role when basic courtesy and professionalism disappear so quickly. When I asked for their names to document the incident, they refused and told me to leave. If accountability, communication, and respectful treatment matter to you, I'd suggest confirming things multiple times -- and maybe still prepare for surprises.

I have been here twice now and had excellent experiences both times. The new patient process is…read morepretty quick and painless. They were able to get me in within two weeks for a routine cleaning and x-rays. The cleaning was good. I mentioned that I tend to gag with dental stuff, so they took extra care when placing the films for my x-rays and the tech kept checking on me and going super slow to ensure my comfort. I had a filling that had mostly fallen out. I was able to reschedule a follow up for two days later (they had them sooner, but it didn't work for my schedule). I asked if I would have to be numbed because I hate the dental shots. She said she was pretty confident she could pop out the old filling and replace it with no to minimal pain and she was right. My tooth hurt the tiniest bit, but I'm pretty sure it was just sensitivity when the cold water blasted it. I was in and out in about 20 minutes with my new filling and no numb, drooly mouth. They also accept children. My friend's entire family goes and say the dentists are really good with their kids as well. I don't doubt it. Each room is themed. My cleaning was in the Star Wars room and my filling was in the baseball room. There is plenty for kids (or kids at heart) to look at and be distracted by during dental procedures.

The receptionist and office people nurses and doctors were exceptional. I was made to feel…read morecomfortable and very relaxed and the procedure was. I would like to say pain for you, but you're gonna have some pain. If you have all your teeth pulled the teeth are wonderful. My smile is back and I love it so much. The lower rating is because during the process of signing up, I was told that they do not file insurance, but I was also told that I could in order to do that. There are specific forms that you need. The American dental Association has a form that can be filled out. It's pretty self-explanatory. It's one page and per HIPAA regulations is mandatory if requested. I requested before my procedure during the sales I requested again every time I went there I called I text I sent email after email to several different people within the company. I was told by the office manager that they do not do that and she would not give me my codes and was very shocked that I would need their tax ID number although that's pretty much a given, considering that they're going to report the money that their paid to the federal government for taxes this went on for a year. I sent a written, concise letter and pointed out that HIPAA regulations required that they give me all documentation needed in order to file with insurance. In fact they need to give you all documentation for the entire procedure as required by HIPAA. They have ignored me for over a month now not replied at all, so I am sending them a note one more time a letter written and making it very clear that I will contact the state licensing board about this issue. We'll see how that goes. If they do not comply, I will file a formal complaint with the state licensing board. They will tell you they will give you an Amazon card for $100 just for the consultation the initial one whether you sign up with them or not they've told me several times they're going to give it to me that I'm on the list I've never received it. They want you to write really good reviews about them on Google and yelp and they push that quite a bit at you so I did and this is right away as soon as your first appointment. They also have a Facebook page dedicated to their patience, which is a wonderful page. You can find out ahead of time what it's like to have them done, you can hear other people's experiences. You know how to care for the teeth after you get them. You're not allowed to mention money at all, and I imagine lack of them filing insurance so it's kind of it's a it's a monitored page and you gotta say all good or it does not get approved to be posted my insurance company as it's coming up on the year date of when I actually had my implants put in. I'm not really sure they will cover this. I was really counting on the 3000 as I started out one payment behind because I was told a different payment date, then was actual so now I'm behind on those payments. They've been trying to get me to come in for the appointment where they will take out your teeth you go away for a couple hours. You come back and they put them back in because they're cleaning them and such checking fit. I am not going. I had not heard about this appointment until I fell behind on my payments to the bank that is associated with them. I'm not letting him take my teeth and if I go to that appointment, they take my teeth out and I leave that puts them in possession, which is 100% and I will not get my teeth back I'm real sure so my teeth are not being cared for because I feel threatened. I will continue an update this review as it continues on but as right now the teeth are great. It's really quick procedure but there's no problem with them 24 hour turnaround. It's great but if you wanna file with your insurance, I would hold off or pick another place because these people are noncompliant, they're rude when you bring it up to them. The office manager was horrible and it's really hard to get a hold of anyone higher up. If you look on the Internet, they hand out no phone numbers. They do not get back with you if you find some it's they're not gonna reply so if that's gonna be an issue with you the insurance I would not go with this company and that's too bad cause I really like my teeth.

I hope the recorded my conversation because what they quoted me and billed me was 11k difference. Also I don't like pain no one does. I had top and bottom done. They gave my ibuprofen and an antibiotic. It's been 8 months and I'm still in pain. I don't speak correctly or how I use too. I bite the insides is my hums and lips. This place is sketchy. Please get dentures the have been around forever. I'm following up with an attorney.

I absolutely appreciated the phone call that someone canceled. Dr. Nam was extremely personable, with a relaxed but educational demeanor. As someone who isn't a fan of the density, I appreciated the offering of music or Netflix as a distraction method from the procedure. One thing that was different than my previous dentist is that Dr. Nam didn't do my actual filling. She administered the numbing agents and then another person came in, placed and set the filling, and then Dr. Nam checked this. In my other experiences, the dentist always did the full procedure, so this struck me as slightly odd. Other than that, office is clean, staff is friendly, and both appointments took me nearly on time (within a 5-10 minute window) which I think is pretty good!

I needed a new dentist when I moved to Indianapolis, and my boyfriend recommended Dr. Summerlin…read more All I needed was routine check up and cleaning. I had my old dentist email my xrays before my appointment, and they pulled them up and used them in my exam. I was happy to avoid the biting-on-hard-plastic-while-the-doctor-takes-pictures-of-your-teeth routine. One thing that rubs me the wrong way, maybe because I work in the health care field, is when someone who is going to be working with you doesn't introduce themselves. When I arrived, I didn't get a "Hello, welcome to..." I got "Here, fill out this paperwork". Neither my dental hygienist nor Dr. Summerlin introduced themselves to me. Only the receptionist called me by my name. I prefer my doctors, nurses, dentists etc to be friendly, and I didn't feel like anyone here was particularly friendly. Not unfriendly, just not very warm. The office was in an older building, and it seemed like the place could use a few updates. The dental chair was torn. However, I don't mind those things too much. I've been to dentists with massage chairs and DVD players, so if that is what you're looking for, go somewhere else. If you want quick, professional service, come see Dr. Summerlin. I am very satisfied with the cleaning I got. My teeth feel great, I was in and out quickly, and Dr. Summerlin even joked and called me "boring" since I didn't have any cavities or concerns. I will most likely be back to see Dr. Summerlin and the anonymous hygienist again in six months.

They do get busy sometimes, but they are still able to get people in and out for their cleaning appointments in a timely fashion. I like Dr. Summerlin a lot, and I really like most of the assistants. There are some that are rougher with their cleanings with other, but overall for the most part they do a great job.
