Burr & Forman

Despite repeated written requests (July-September 2025), I never received a payoff statement or an opportunity to retrieve my personal belongings. -Brandon Batchelor The notices they relied on included a recycled 'right to cure' letter originally sent to my Florida address in 2021 -- but then later re-used in 2025 as if current, even though I have continuously resided in Florida and maintained registration and insurance there. Their sworn affidavit also stated 'insurance not verified,' yet I had valid, active coverage with State Farm at all times. In addition, their valuation documents inflated my vehicle's mileage at 65,910, when my dated dashboard photo from July 12, 2025 shows only 46,338 miles. That is a discrepancy of nearly 20,000 miles. A notice claimed the vehicle would be sold 'on or after 9/3/2025,' but as of October 2, 2025, the Florida DMV still shows the title as ACTIVE in my name. Regulators are now involved: NC Attorney General (File No. CP-25-16490), CFPB (Case No. 250818-23268585), and the BBB closed my complaint as 'unresolved' after the company failed to address these issues. This review is based solely on my own experience, supported by documents, photos, and regulator case numbers. Anyone dealing with this firm or their client should independently verify every detail.
