I USED to see a Dr. who was nowhere near as thorough as Dr. Stiegelfest, and this Dr. actually listens! Plus the advice I have been given so far has been better too. Very happy I had to change because it's been for the better! I never have any trouble getting appointments myself but I am flexible & I make them way in advance so I always get what works for me. As to what a previous reviewer said about having to wait more than 10 minutes ...OMG, where has this person been living, under a rock? ALL doctor offices have some sort of a wait & MANY are 10-30 minute waits if not MORE and YES on a regular basis! Yes my time is valuable too but good grief, this person must be cosseted all the time! It has NOTHING to do with how you are valued as a patient & more to do with the state of healthcare in this day and age. Not very many Rheumy's, a ton of patients in the area, so there's high demand. The docs do what they can but sorry they can't get to you as quickly as U need them to, Princess! Back to a realistic review: The staff are really nice so that makes for a more enjoyable visit. The only drawback I can see is, checking in and out is annoying. There's always a line & to be honest it's not that easy for me to stand due to my RA so I don't like when they have lines & they aren't moving people in & out quick enough. The staff up front are great with the exception of 1 lady. I hate to say anything mean but bless her heart it takes her FOREVER to check u in or out. I try to avoid her window because of that. The other ladies can move 3-4 people thru their window whereas she will still be working on getting that 1 person dealt with. AND it's not hard what she does. So I won't be ugly & call out which one it is but if u go, you'll quickly see which one it is. She is very nice so I wish she would get moved to the back office instead of the front windows. Anyway that is the only thing I have to say negative about the office and to their credit, they have addressed this issue once. They've recently hired more staff in the front but honestly they actually need 3-4 checkin/out staff at the windows at all times if u ask me! But, I won't not go here just because of that since it has nothing to do with my medical care. Compared to other offices, this is minor. I like the Dr's there, the others I have heard good reports on as well from other patients so don't think u have to worry about which doc to get in to. Also they do have a very helpful perk that my old Centennial Dr. did not have. Vandy has their own "myhealth website" that u can access to read your lab work or send a msg. to the Dr. or office, see when your next appointments are & such. I REALLY love this feature because I am more of a techy person so I like having access to info. like this.

If this clinic wants to present itself as a mental health provider, leadership might want to revisit what "care" actually looks like. Walking in, I was immediately met with a barrage of paperwork focused on billing--making sure charges are clear to them, not to you. Not exactly the warmest introduction for someone seeking mental health support. The next interaction was just as impersonal. After giving my name, I was directed to step on a scale and provide measurements--no introduction, no explanation, no basic courtesy. It felt more like processing inventory than welcoming a person. Then came the actual "care" session. The provider launched into a rapid-fire explanation of all the ways the clinic can bill you, delivered with the energy of a fast-talking sitcom character. She shared that she knew I had already been given all of those details though just wanted to recap again. Then, she told me why she thought I was there which was not accurate. I asked her to slow down and please take the time to have dialogue instead of talking at me. She never asked meaningful questions or or make a genuine attempt to understand why I was there, which made any real conversation about mental health impossible. Overall, the experience felt dismissive, disinterested, and transactional from start to finish. The caregiver, in particular, seemed better suited to a role with minimal human interaction - perhaps guarding an empty museum wing, because meaningful engagement was clearly not part of the approach. I am genuinely appalled and disturbed this clinic presents itself as having any aptitude in mental health care. None of them demonstrated an ounce of intellectual curiosity or communication skills which should be critical in caregiving roles.

The week of Thanksgiving, I realized I was running low, so I called the office and spoke with Christopher, who said he would speak with Brenda--the provider I normally see--and that she would call me back. I never received a call. The following Monday, I called again and was told there was suddenly a letter in my file discontinuing my medication because I've been on it for five years. This was news to me. On 12/3/25, I spoke with the office manager, who said she would look into the situation with both Rob and Brenda and call me back. Once again, no one followed up. The staff at this facility knows I get seriously sick from allergies, yet no one seems concerned or willing to communicate. After this experience, I cannot recommend Gracepointe to anyone. Their lack of follow-through and disregard for patient needs is unacceptable.

But avoid their lunch hour as they completely shut down and you'll wait in the parking lot. Heaven forbid if your have a medical need during their lunch hour! Times when I have called on the phone, my experiences have been less than satisfactory. If I requested some record or document to be sent to me, I never received it. If I requested a a record to be faxed, it was never received. If I left a message for a callback, I never received the callbacks.

The entire staff and our pediatrician, Dr. Bennie have gone above and beyond for us numerous times. Everyone at Harpeth have been exceptional with his care. He is very immune compromised and they have been Extremely precautious about keeping us safe and healthy even through the pandemic. They are always flexible, caring, and very thorough with his care and the care of his siblings. I highly recommend this practice and all of the physicians that work at Harpeth Peds!

We have three teenagers that have gotten their physicals and immunizations there. Over the past six…read moremonths alone, they have made two errors on their immunization records. In one case, they gave a shot and didn't even record it on my son's form. We had to remind them the next time we came in when it was missing. Also, terribly inconvenient to get records to the school as they will not fax directly. Had to call several times and leave messages. Such a hassle.
