Written paper showing the price $115 for deep cleaning and $700 for the crown. Several days later received a bill for $166. Called and asked what this was for. Was told that I was now out of network and insurance didn't cover all the deep cleaning and the paper was only an estimate anyway, not what I was told when I gave the go-ahead for deep cleaning So two lies at this point. Next, I asked if this could be reversed since I was lied to about the fees. Their answer was if we do that for you then we have to do this for others. I guess this is an ongoing issue. Next, I inquired about my cleaning that is supposed to be covered by Insurance and was told these are only estimates and there will be extra charges for the cleaning. Wow another LIE! This is not a family friendly business. Word travels fast in a small town. I intend to file with the BBB a complaint. Looking into the Oregon Dental Association complaint department' I guess this is there way of advertising on the radio to suck more customers in and charge extra fees. I have experienced one deep cleaning and several routine cleanings there for some time now. This is not your typical "pick & bleed" old fashioned dentist. They use water type ultrasonic technology to clean your teeth, and I personally feel it does a great job. The office was clean and rooms appeared sterile and well maintained. Certainly a modern feel to the office. They work well with my current insurance company and their prices are reasonable, which keeps me smiling. Their billing can be a bit on the slow side but on the insurance side of things, payments are processed quickly and they do all the work.

One time I had already taken the sedating pill, so I was under the influence, and he started trying to get me to agree to do more than I had come into the office to do. I had to call the office after I came to and ask what happened because I had no idea. I feel that was very manipulative and unethical of him. I will never go to him again.
