I got the lowest rate, lowest closing costs, and expended the least effort of any other experience. I was very impressed with how close the APR was to the quoted rate. Most companies pull you in with a low rate but then the APR is at least a 1/4 percent higher. The whole process was pretty painless with only the minimum amount of documentation required which I was easily able to either scan or download to my computer and then upload on their website. Again, my closing costs were super low compared to other mortgages I have had. I will definitely seek them out the next time I move.

Unresponsive, failed to give me all my options, took about 110 days form application to closing. I must have called 15 times to find out my status but rarely got an answer. One of the staff I dealt with sounded totally inexperienced and confused. She then stopped returning my calls. Their online system sent me no less than 10 emails indicating I needed to login to the portal and complete tasks which I knew were already done. In each case, I would log in and the system said there was nothing they needed from me. When I finally went to closing over three months after my initial contact, the documents were wrong TWICE. The notary had to return to my home with corrected docs. I received an email asking for a rating, which I gave as ZERO. Their customer service department emailed me saying they were sorry I was dissatisfied and offering to send me a $25 gift card. I wrote back and asked if they wanted to hear about my experience. I also called twice. After almost a month, no one has contacted me. I guess they just don't care!

    Let me start off with saying that I have dealt with PCF in the pass for refinancing(2006). I had a…read morepleasant experience and was the reason I went back last year(2012), but the person who I dealt with in 2006 left the business. So Mr. Robert Raveles attended to my needs, he calculated some numbers for me with the current interest rates at the time (4%-4.5%). So I signed some papers for the credit checks and gave a $500 check for the appraisel of my property. Then waited for some bank offers and waited. I haven't hear from Mr. Raveles for two week I texted him what the progress was and he assured me that he was still working on it. Another week goes by nothing I dropped by the office it was closed during the day in the middle of the week! Bad sign. So I went with someone else and Mr. Raveles refuses to refund my $500. I went to file papers to sue the Deadbeat but the business is in bad standing with the city. He offered half of it back out of his own pocket(what a nice guy) but to give him till the end of the month. Do you think I hear from him? I still have all the texted messages from this ordeal. So I would love to have a reply to this review. He's also the President and Secretary of PCF.

My brother banks at one of their branches in the South Suburbs. My brother's bank account was hacked over the summer. It was being resolved and credited back to his account. A few weeks later, I got mail from the main headquarters in Rosemont---to my address. His name, but my address. My brother lives 50 miles away. He has never lived with me. The letter was in regards to the matter of the hacking. He called the bank, they were puzzled---said my address was not attached to his bank account. About 10 days later, I got a second letter. He called his bank again, but they were clueless, said they would look into it. When I received a 3rd letter, I called because I was annoyed for my brother. While there are no account numbers on these letters, this letter has information about this incident---and the dates keep changing. How do we know his information is actually safe with this bank if they do not know why his mail is even being sent to me?? Their first line resolution was they could add my address to their "do not mail" list. I said, "How does that help my brother? The problem is his mail is being sent somewhere else, not to him!! And btw, thank goodness his mail is coming to a relative!!" They could only help me with so much, got my brother to connect with them---and they said they figured it out. Oddly, they did not tell him what the problem was. Guess what?? Today, I got another letter from Wintrust Bank HQ in Rosemont. This is a security and privacy issue. Your information is not safe. I told my brother to change banks.
