    Let me start off with saying that I have dealt with PCF in the pass for refinancing(2006). I had a…read morepleasant experience and was the reason I went back last year(2012), but the person who I dealt with in 2006 left the business. So Mr. Robert Raveles attended to my needs, he calculated some numbers for me with the current interest rates at the time (4%-4.5%). So I signed some papers for the credit checks and gave a $500 check for the appraisel of my property. Then waited for some bank offers and waited. I haven't hear from Mr. Raveles for two week I texted him what the progress was and he assured me that he was still working on it. Another week goes by nothing I dropped by the office it was closed during the day in the middle of the week! Bad sign. So I went with someone else and Mr. Raveles refuses to refund my $500. I went to file papers to sue the Deadbeat but the business is in bad standing with the city. He offered half of it back out of his own pocket(what a nice guy) but to give him till the end of the month. Do you think I hear from him? I still have all the texted messages from this ordeal. So I would love to have a reply to this review. He's also the President and Secretary of PCF.

    Nick Callero was aware that my buyer was a recently divorced single mother trying to secure a…read morestable home for herself and her two young children. Throughout the process, the lending terms changed multiple times in ways that ultimately jeopardized her ability to close. Initially, she was advised to plan for 25% down. That later changed to 60%, which was extremely difficult but something she was prepared to make work. Then, less than a week before closing, she was told the requirement was actually 80% down, with no alternatives presented. THANKFULLY, we were able to find another lender who offered a bank statement loan and closed us in just 10 days. Only after we moved forward with that solution were we told that this mortgage company also offers bank statement loans- an option that was NEVER previously presented as a possible solution. Additionally, my buyer had already paid $400+ for an appraisal. When the deal fell apart due to the last-minute changes, we requested the appraisal be transferred to the lender who was working towards my clients best interests. Nick lied, and said it was no longer valid since the deal was cancelled. An appraisal does not become invalid due to a deal being cancelled.There was no acknowledgment, apology, or effort to rectify. My buyer had to pay an additional $600 for another appraisal, that was more $ due to it being rushed, so not only was he a huge cause in the deal being cancelled, when we were able to find someone to help her and get this home under contract, he lied to my buyer, did not try to help her, and she had to pay additional money due to this. With a reminder that he was fully aware of her situation of being a recently divorced with 2 kids. If you are looking for a lender who will proactively explore solutions, communicate clearly, and advocate for your best interests, especially during a sensitive life transition, this is not the place for you. I am grateful my buyer is now stable and in her new home with her babies.
