I have an irrational fear of the dentist and hadnt been for a very long time!! After hours and hours of research to find a new dentist my sister came across Mirani Marjan. She knew I would never make an appointment on my own so I got pushed into it.. I also didnt have much of a choice when my tooth started aching!! My first reaction on seeing so many 5 star reviews is to always think.. well she sounds too good to be true... but OMG honestly. From my first interaction simply on email with Chacen Domingo who was so helpful and kind to actually arriving to the office and seeing smiling happy and welcoming faces. Never has someone behind a desk stood up and introduce themselves, shake my had and say how lovely it was to meet me. The staff were all so wonderful and then I met Dr Mirani who was gentle, compassionate and so incredibly helpful. She took her time, felt like she really listened and wanted to do whatever she could to make me feel cared for. I have been to dentists before that told me I had 6 cavities, I have none! There was NO feeling that making money was number 1 here.. the feeling was making the patient feeling welcome, relaxed, safe and that the best possible treatment will be given. No joke, I text my sister and said I was so happy I had found such an amazing dentist I felt like crying. Thanks Sis.. ! read more

I also really like her staff they are all nice and helpful, Marisela is very helpful, professional and sweet. I really appreciate all they did for me all these years. read more

I moved to L.A. two years ago and asked around for a dentist, which is how I discovered Dr. Mirani. I am SO thankful I found her and have recommended her to all my family and friends: from the calm, lovely office (newly updated with state-of-the-art filters, masks, and specialized anti-viral cleaning equipment), to the unfailingly kind and helpful staff, and - most important - Dr. Mirani herself - the entire set-up is geared to easing the patients' experience and making them feel comfortable and well-cared for. Dr. Mirani is incredibly conscientious and detail-oriented, even more so now, with Covid-19, and goes to great lengths to make her patients and staff secure. When I went recently for a cleaning and filling, I felt completely at ease thanks to the finicky approach. I've experienced a full range of dental services there - basic cleaning, tooth whitening, fillings, creating a night guard, and even a dire emergency when my front tooth chipped. In that particular case, Dr. Mirani - who had only met me once! - opened the office after work on a SATURDAY to fix it! I call that the best service I've ever received from a health specialist, anywhere. I cannot recommend this office highly enough. read more

Dr. Mirani is the best dentist I have had as an adult. I have been going to her for 5 years and love her gentle manner and calming voice. She is also just an honest, great dentist. I have a huge extended network of friends who go to her, and have sent many people to her. Everyone loves her. She's done major dental work for some of my friends and they all say she made it a breeze. Dr. MIrani recently moved - she opened up her own office. I hope they update this page soon, but in case they don't, her number is 310.475.6363 read more

Dr. Mirani has been amazing with my treatment. My case is not an easy one. I got in a cycling accident where I broke my jaw broken in five places, lost some teeth and all that comes with such an injury. The oral surgeon who took over my case suggested I go to no one other than his own dentist, Dr. Mirani. He clearly saw that I needed someone who could offer a specialized, gentle and organized approach to it all. Dr. Mirani's and her team have been that and so much more. Her approach has been professional, compassionate and I genuinely love coming to her office. Her staff is awesome! Dr. Mirani is someone who is passionate about what she does and it shows in her work. She does beautiful work. Thank you Dr. Mirani and staff for giving me my smile back and helping me through this tough process. You've all made it easier for me. After moving to LA, it took me a long time to find a dentist. I have an irrational fear of needles going into my mouth. Giving blood is fine, getting shots elsewhere, touching blood, having surgery... fine, fine, fine. But I CAN'T take a shot in the mouth. And I work in dentistry. People were always asking me to recommend a dentist, and since I was new to the area, I would ask my boss. Dr. Mirani's name kept coming up. She said that although she is a little on the expensive side, she is meticulous and does beautiful work. Still, I waited until I couldn't wait anymore. At my first appointment with Dr. Mirani, I was SOOO nervous. A filling that I'd had for a long time had cracked and broke part of my tooth. Apparently there was some leakage because it was really shoddily done. I knew I'd have to get a shot. But Dr. Mirani was so gentle! Her light touch and soothing voice make dental visits, well, not terrifying. She really does put me at ease. I can't say that going to the dentist is ever enjoyable, but she is the 1st dentist I've ever had that I can actually relax in the chair. BTW, she did an onlay for me and it looks great, I can barely tell which tooth it s, it feels just like all the others. P.S. she does the cleanings herself, and always does a wonderful job. read more

You will never find another dentist who is dedicated to their craft like Marjan Mirani is. She's an excellent dentist who's primary concern is your health which is related to your dental care.... plus she is an Angel on the earth... I've had what I thought was a "healthy fear of the dentist" all my life. Just the thought of sitting in that chair sent shivers down my spine. But Dr. Mirani completely changed my outlook forever, I guess I just had a fear of bad dentists is all:) She is the perfect person to be a dentist. She's calm, methodical, and a truly kind human being. She reeeeally knows her stuff too! Everything in her office looks like the most up-to-date tools and technology. I had a particularly large and difficult filling because it was close to a nerve, so after the novocaine wore off, I was having a lot of pain. I called Dr. Mirani and she quickly calmed me down and called in a pain prescription for me at 10pm. She even called me to see how I was doing for the next few days...can you imagine another dentist doing that??!! I've been a patient of hers for 4 years now and am so happy that I have my dentist for life! ...and I swear, even if I moved across the country, I would fly back for my dental visits because Dr. Mirani cannot be duplicated!!! read more

Dr. Mirani is hands down the best Doctor ever! I came in to get bonding on a tooth that grew out funny leaving a gap like appearance on my lower teeth and she fixed it like the pro she is! I've always felt insecure about that tooth and was really nervous of the outcome but when she was done I couldn't stop staring at it! The gap is gone and my smile looks great it all blended in nicely! It was a one visit fix I find unbelievable! She was very gentle and kind along with her entire staff! If you are looking for a great Doctor in cosmetic or general dentistry the search is over, she's the best! read more

Dr. Marani is hands down the best dentist i've ever come across! If i could give her 100+ stars, i would. She has made my smile so beautiful. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, understands my needs and performs such immaculate work and is a perfectionist. From the moment i walked in her office, i have had the best experience and ALL her staff is the kindest. She has a gentle, warm and the most caring touch. read more

Dr. Mirani really deserves six stars. I did not know that dental care could differ so greatly from one practice till the next until I happened upon this practice. She is the best dentist I have seen (and I've been to a dozen or so). CLEANING - Thorough and very high-tech. They did a full set of x-rays and allowed me to watch live imagery via a small camera on a wand. I'd never previously seen the inside of my molars in such excruciating detail, but I was glad as I quickly realized that I was getting an exhaustive clean. STAFF - Really great staff! A cut above in terms of responsiveness and professionalism. They send text/email appointment reminders (why don't more doctors/dentists do that?) and they are quick to put you at ease with "upgrades" like DVDs to watch during longer appointments and attentiveness to detail like having a wash available immediately after a bad tasting substance is used. MANNER - Here's another area where they excel. It's clear that Dr. Mirani is really a caring, friendly person. In certain cases you sacrifice bedside manner for excellent care, but not here. You get both. She possesses a high degree of technical skill, but she also treats the patient well. Which makes all the difference in the world. I'd highly recommend Dr. Mirani's practice to anyone. read more

If I could get my teeth cleaned everyday by Dr. Mirani I would. Dr. Mirani is easily the most gentle, kind, dedicated, efficient, and wonderful dentist of all time ever. i cannot warn parents enough about taking your children to marjan mirani DDS. as in a giant NO, don't do it. she may be a great dentist for adults but her bedside manner for children is non-existent. the hubs got a referral from a co-worker for a pediatric dentist as our regular dentist was on vacay. unfortunately, the referral dentist was also on vacay. our 3 yr old daughter had somehow deeply cut her gums, close to several of her teeth & we decided we could not wait 2wks for our regular dentist to return. as i mentioned, my daughter was 3. she had visiting the dentist since she was 18 months & this being her 4th to a dentist, she was very familiar with how the whole visit to the dentist thing worked. dr mirani wanted an x-ray to check the intregrity of her teeth near the incision site. not an unreasonable request. only over the next 45 minutes, i got the distinct feeling that she had never administered an x-ray to a child under the age of 10. why? you ask. let me tell you. after 45 minutes, dr mirani failed to get any type of x-ray because she was unable to explain, in easy, comprehendable terms for a 3 year old to understand, how the film was to go between my daughter's cheek/teeth/gums but that my daughter would need to bite the film and hold still while the x-ray was taken. not too hard. it is if you have NO way with children, as dr mirani. over the next 45 minutes, she consistently snapped at my 3 year old, eventually making her cry thus now making the x-ray process impossible. knowing my daughter and her penchant to please, i knew i could put it into terms she could comprehend. before interjecting instructions directly to my daughter as i could understand what dr mirani was asking, i FIRST asked dr mirani if she would like me to try explaining to my daughter what was needed of her. dr mirani then snapped at me and left the room. my 3 year old daughter turned to me and said "i don't understand what she wants me to do and i am afraid i will bite her finger and then she'll be mad at me" as it had not dawned on my daughter that dr mirani had already been mad at her for the last 45 minutes. in dr mirani's absence, i explained to my 3 year old exactly what she needed to do so we could get the x-ray then head home and forget this whole awful dental experience. dr mirani returned once more, shoved the film between my daughter's cheek/teeth and instructed her to bite down. now. which my daughter did. and she bit dr mirani's finger. just as she had feared. dr mirani yelled "she bit me!" then stormed out and a dental assistant was sent in to try her luck. by this time, my 3 year old was silently sobbing, trying her hardest to keep her tears in as she knew she had not done what was asked of her. and she hates failing people. despite all that, no x-ray. grrrrrr. to explain away this experience, my only guess is that dr mirani did/does not have any children of her own. AND she was absent the day child patient relations was taught at dental school, attributing to her lack of skill in dealing with children in a considerate, caring manner. so boo on you dr mirani and your awful chairside manner with the wee ones. and thanks to you, my daughter now fears every dental cleaning and cries at the mere mention of x-rays. thanks. thanks alot. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Mirani for years and LOVE her! Having had cavities and problems with my teeth my entire life thanks to my "amazing" genetics, I have been to several dentists who make it terrifying to even think of ever going back. However, Dr. Mirani makes going to the dentist a pleasure. She is so sweet, kind and gentle. She even massages your jaw for you when you're done. If you ever have an emergency she will be sure to get you in ASAP. I recommend her to all my family and friends and they all love her. I highly recommend Dr. Mirani! She is definitely the best and actually cares about you, making sure you are comfortable every step of the way. read more

Dr. Mirani is a top notch general and cosmetic dentist ,and truly the best one I have ever gone too. I broke my front tooth and after many failed attempts by another dentist in bay area, I decided to fly from San Francisco to Beverly Hills to have my tooth fixed by her. Dr. Mirani is extremely talented and knowledgeable in field of dentistry, and she uses the best modern dentistry equipment and technology in her office. Her office was bright, pristine, and elegantly decorated with welcoming/ calming atmosphere. Dr. Mirani had incredible bedside manner, and she was gentle, kind, graceful and considerate. She ensured I won't feel any discomfort by numbing my tooth prior to the procedure. She walked me through the procedure and explained everything thoroughly. She is immaculate, perfectionist and takes pride in her work which truly shows in her fantastic job done on my tooth. She had her staff adjust and clean my mouth guard as well which it looked brand new and fits great now. Her entire staff are very pleasant, professional, and made me feel at ease before, during and after the procedure. During the procedure they played Planet Earth on Netflix on a front monitor which calmed me down, made the process go smoothly and faster at the same time I learned something new which frankly speaking I felt it was a bright idea. The front desk was very accommodating with scheduling my appointments since I was flying in from San Francisco. Dr. Mirani personally contacted me a day after my procedure to ensure I was okay which was greatly appreciated considering her busy schedule. Altogether it was amazing experience and Dr. Mirani and her staff did outstanding job.
