Although our office is conveniently located in Stoughton, Ma, we are able to offer mortgage financing throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Meet the Business Owner: Jim B.

Like the majority of people today, I have a career; this however, isn't what defines me. Instead, it is my background and experiences. I grew up in Canada, on Cape Bretton Island, before I moved to Boston for college in 1979. Although I left the island, I never went far from the sea, settling and raising two children on the South Shore of Mass. As often as possible my family and I go boating and swimming. When the winter comes, I spend my free time playing hockey, traveling when possible, shoveling snow, and wishing for spring like all New Englanders. In April of 1989, I founded Maritime Mortgage and named it after the ocean and my connection to it. For the last two and a half decades I have seen the mortgage industry change and evolve many times. Being around that long has also allotted me with a wealth of information.After 25 years and thousands of closings, I pride myself on the relationships I've established!
