We had dinner here our first night in Salerno. It was lovely. They take reservations (if you want a table outside you need to make a reservation) but we walked in and got the little table near the door. We had the fish of the day (amberjack) with homemade chips on a bed of delicious sauce and the pasta with pistacchio pesto. Both were amazing. A wonderful wine list. The staff were very friendly and stopped to have a really great conversation about Italian vs California wines. They have a small store and we took home a bottle of wine and a jar of pesto sauce. This place is truly fantastic! We ate here three times in one week on our trip to Salerno! This was the best al Dente pasta I have ever had with also the freshest tomato sauce I've ever had. Try the "broken candle" pasta, you will be happy you did. BEST LIMONCELLO EVER! Chef Emiliano really took special care of us. Such a nice man! We were happy to leave calling him a friend! The music here is also fantastic! Great atmosphere, amazing food and lovely service. Absolutely recommend!! read more
