I started with a fresh mango margareta We split three appetizers: tuna tostada, ceviche, and grilled artichoke. The ceviche was fresh withy fish, tomatoes, onion. The grilled artichokes were so good I could have been in Rome, Italy. The shaved Parmesan complimented the artichokes grilled to perfection. The tostada was my friends favorite and I could ser why. It was crunchy with raw fresh tuna, slivers of leeks, avocado, and colorful sesame seeds. I got the fish and asked for lentils in the side and it was delicious. The portion was generous too. Side salad was ok. My friend got the salmon and it was even better. We split two desserts and they were worth the calories. Loved the ice cream.

Cevichento is one of the joints (it's got a street-front, with a few chairs that you can sit at). The service is slow (as it is at most of the places here), so don't go if you're in a rush. OTOH, the food is really quite good - the aguachile is delightfully acidic (and *chili-hot*!), as are the tortas. We ordered the tuna and pulpo tostadas! So fresh and delicious. The staff told me they fly in the fresh seafood everyday. Our waiter told us to try the fish taco. The batter was light and I liked the freshness. We had the Camarones asados (shrimp) and this was one of my faves. The shrimps were grilled and had a really nice sauce on top. My favorite was the calimar lolingo which is calamari in a peanut garlic sauce. Sooo good. You use the bread the dunk in the sauce. My family ordered the Gordita and they all like it. For the desert we had the flan and it was a perfect end to the meal. I will be back

Definitely was worth the splurge. The only disappointment was the shrimp dish we had. The shrimp themselves were great, but it just seemed too salty for us.
