Hair on the bowl, thankfully not inside.

The service was okay. Our server wasn't nice or friendly but she wasn't rude either(at first). The restroom was dirty; the mirrors scratched and there was toilet paper on the floor. There was loud music playing for most of our time in the restaurant. I didn't mind the loud music since I know that these kinds of restaurants are meant to have that sort of ambience. Now, the most important part, the food. The shrimp was incredibly disgusting- it was old, and not deveined, which for the price I expected it to be. Correction, there was ONE shrimp that was deveine. There was hair on the bowl the lime was served in. The fish was okay, nothing outstanding, but edible. The shrimp burrito seemed like it was made with old ingredients; it wasn't good. When I told our server about our issues with the food she said "it's supposed to be like that." She didn't offer to remake it or even apologized for the state of the food. We weren't planning on eating the food anymore, but we didn't want it to go to waste so we asked for to go boxes (to feed our chickens). When our server brought us the to go boxes she threw it on the table! The food is completely overpriced $23-30 per entree. For reference I went in when it wasn't busy. I've also worked in a restaurant so I know how restaurants work and that the service won't always be good. However, I wouldn't give this place a second chance. Service 1/5 Food 0/5

Fried filete

You walk in and feel like you're in a beach town in Mexico. The service is friendly and the seafood is good. The entrees are between $20 to $25 which is a little pricey but the food is nicely portioned. The Aguas frescas are $5 and they charge a $3 fee if you pay with a card. Tortilla chips and salsa were brought out right away while looking at their extensive menu. I tried the fried filete and it came with salad, rice, and beans ($21). The filete was large but tasted kind of bland and the batter was thick and fell off the fish. The salad was just an iceberg lettuce mix with ranch dressing but the rice and beans were good. Overall it was a nice experience for a sit down seafood restaurant.

Is it necessary to have a 4% fee on credit cards? Get out of here. Carrying cash is a hassle and asking us to do it is an inconvenience.

Very good Mariscos! We had the locochona & aguachile. They were both fresh & delicious. The waitress were very attentive & friendly. They have onsite parking. We were able to bring our dog & eat on the patio. I can't wait to go back!

Muy delicioso! I wish sometimes that I could partake in all they have to offer. It is our second time in two weeks for taco Tuesdays , and we love the indulgence. I'm sure their seafood is great as well. The hubby and I like the carne asada tacos and fish tacos. And I always have the horchata. Their nachos are a huge selling point-their salsa has that touch of lingering hotness; and the Mexican limes are a great condiment. I'm happy they are open for dine in.

These are the 3 "aguachile tostadas" they gave me, trash.

Not what me and the wife were expecting, they weren't even tostada aguachile... they were TOSTADA CHIPS! Then the inside of the shrimp was grey never coming back to this place.

If you're looking for some killer Mexican-style seafood (or even land-food) after a long day of work, this place will do the trick. The food: They start off with very strong chips-and-salsa game that sets up the rest of the meal perfectly. Delicious fish tacos can be had for only $2.75, and they're *actual size* (read: not street tacos). And they have some unique dishes other than tacos too: the Relleno Mariscos is a chile relleno stuffed with seafood delights like fish, shrino, and octopus. Even the beans and rice were well-spiced and made with care, not just obligatory decoration. The atmosphere: The place is kept clean. Booths are a bit small, but there are regular tables and a patio. Parking is limited. Music was a bit too loud to have a conversation.

There was plenty of parking once we found it. It's a bright blue food truck serving up fresh Mexican seafood and tacos, with a shaded tent area for seating. Each table has salsas and condiments which I loved. The workers here are amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. We ordered two tacos, cabeza and adobada, along with the aguachile verde tostada. This surprisingly was enough for two people. While waiting, we grabbed some salsas. They keep them on ice so they stay fresh and cold which was such a nice touch. They told us we could bring the whole bottle to the table, but we just used small cups. My favorite was the orange creamy salsa. It had a slight chipotle flavor but was pretty mild and perfect with the chips. They also gave us complimentary soup while we waited which was a nice surprise. Both tacos were incredible. The tortillas were warm and held a generous amount of meat. The cabeza was super tender, flavorful, and nicely salted. The adobada was juicy with a smoky, slightly spicy flavor. At $3.50 each, they felt very worth it. The real standout was the aguachile verde tostada. It had raw shrimp in a bright, spicy green sauce with thin sliced red onions. Every bite was fresh, citrusy, and packed with flavor. By the end, the tostada soaked up all the sauce which made it messy in the best way. If you're into that slightly soggy tostada texture, it honestly adds to the experience. We couldn't stop thinking about this place the whole drive home. Definitely coming back!

The service was quick made to order and they give you consomé (broth) with your fish tacos. Recommend the fish, shrimp and gobernador tacos they were all good! And it was a casual ambiance with tables and chairs right next to the taco truck. The fish and shrimp was crispy and not too much of the breading which we all liked. Highly recommend checking it out!

Quality is the same but dare I say even better than the chula vista location! We ordered the following: -fish tacos (must order) -shrimp quesdilla (must order) -aguachile rojo (must order) -quesabirria taco I love that they don't overcompensate with batter when it comes to their fish tacos. You can actually taste the fish and everything about it is SO flavorful! Their shrimp quesadilla was also a surprise banger! Incredibly tasty and can last as 4 meals between 2 people, the portion is HUGE! Not too salty at all but so addictive. Lastly, their aguachile is a must! I tried this at their chula vista location and it's still fire! And ofc they give you complimentary consome! This spot is a hidden gem for sure!

I wasn't even planning on getting mariscos that day but it felt like a sign so I took it as a little treat. It's a food truck setup with folding tables and chairs and a pretty big parking lot since the plaza itself is kind of dead. Parking was easy and there was plenty of space. I walked up and they were doing construction on the tent right above where you order and it was really loud. I feel like that could've been done during closing because it disrupted the vibe. The area is already a little rough so it just made things feel a bit off. The lady working was super sweet. She took my order, you pay right after and they do accept tap to pay which I love because I don't carry cash. They take your name and call you when it's ready. I got mine to go, waited about 10 minutes, and everything came out pretty quick. They packaged everything really well too which I appreciated because aguachile can easily spill. For the tostada they gave two packs of saltines and three tostadas which felt like a good portion. They also had fresh salsas at the truck but I skipped them since my taco already came with sauce. I ordered a fish taco and an aguachile verde tostada. I went home excited to try everything but honestly it didn't really hit for me. The fish taco was a good size with a lot of cabbage and a white sauce, but the fish was a little too soft. I wish it had more crisp and overall the flavors just weren't memorable. It's about $3.70 so fair, just nothing standout. The aguachile verde was the weakest part. Some shrimp textures were off and a few had a strange aftertaste. I've had a lot of aguachile recently and this was probably the lowest quality. I will say they were generous with the avocado and the sauce itself had a nice spicy kick, it just didn't come together overall. There was also an earthy note from the seeds that was very prominent which I have never experienced in aguach For the price, I paid around $20 with tip for both which isn't bad for the portions. It satisfied the craving in the moment but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to come back to.

But every once in a while, hubby has a special request & we make it happen. His San Diego wish? Thursday night all-you-can-eat lobster dinner at 100s Seafood Grill Buffet. And when I say seafood extravaganza, I mean it. Beyond the lobster, there were crab legs, oysters, sushi galore (maki, nigiri & sashimi), lots of Asian specialties plus plenty of American comfort-food favorites to satisfy just about everyone. Now, full disclosure: my feelings were a little mixed, but hubby? He was living his absolute best life. The lobster is served cut in half & broiled, which unfortunately made the meat sort of melt into the shell. Each half ended up being only a couple bites & you did have to wait in line to grab one when fresh trays came out (one half per person at a time). That said, credit where it is due: the kitchen brought out lobster trays pretty regularly, so the wait never felt unreasonable. Meanwhile, hubby proceeded to eat what I can only describe as his body weight in crab legs. His only critique was that he prefers them served hot rather than cold, although the hot butter on draft definitely helped make up for that. I also appreciated how many unique dishes were available beyond seafood, making the buffet feel more interesting than your standard steam-table experience. And for me, the dessert section was a standout, especially the gelato station, which I may or may not have visited more than once. At $56.99, my personal preference would probably be to spend that money at a really good sushi restaurant. But if your dream scenario involves unlimited lobster, crab legs, oysters & a seafood feast where you can try a little bit of everything, this place absolutely delivers. Final verdict? Maybe not my personal seafood fantasy but hubby was THRILLED & sometimes that's the most important review of all. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

The kind that makes a man question his place in the universe. Then the bowl arrived -- steaming, aromatic, confident. And just like that, order was restored. The broth? Deep. Rich. Complex. It has clearly lived a full life and has stories to tell. One sip and I knew: this broth did not come here to mess around. It came here to dominate. Balanced spices, silky depth, and warmth that hugged my soul like a cashmere robe. The noodles were perfectly tender, the meat was sliced with the precision of a seasoned anchorman's mustache trim, and the herbs were so fresh I half-expected them to start doing yoga on the table. Every bite was a symphony. Every slurp -- and yes, I slurped proudly -- was a declaration of joy. I briefly considered standing up, placing my hand over my heart, and saluting the kitchen. The atmosphere? Inviting. The service? Smooth and dependable, like a well-delivered evening broadcast. I felt safe. I felt seen. I felt nourished. I left full, happy, and slightly emotional. They ask incessantly from the moment you walk in if you're ready to order. They do, however, get you your order incredibly quickly.
