I usually hit up their food truck parked at Avocado Heights Park, and it's still one of my favorite chill spots to eat seafood at the park! Shrimp tacos are still my top pick--perfectly fried, crunchy edges, a little gooey in the middle, topped with avocado and salsa. I could honestly eat them every day. The ceviche mixta tostada always hits too--shrimp, fish, octopus, loaded with lime and heat. It can get crowded on the weekends, so I recommend ordering ahead online--just make sure you select the right location. And bring cash! A very rare savory truck! When I say rare, to match the quality and taste of their food, it's incredibly hard! Specifically their shrimp durado tacos. I been here once before and had them, and everywhere I went I kept trying to find similar tacos and you can't! So I was in the area today, stopped by and grabbed four of them. My goodness, my stomach is beyond happy lol. The sauce on top of the tacos is a hit, tomato, cilantro, onion and garlic I believe. The taco itself is a deep fried hard shell taco, with shrimp inside, potentially a little bit of papas too! The truck is city licensed and health licensed with an A. If you payment method is credit card, then you'll need to order online. On the food truck there's a QR code. So you scan that and place the order online for pickup. Alternatively cash payment is accepted. Lastly, their shrimp cocktails are super delicious too! If you're in the area try this food truck and if not, try there actual restaurant, though I believe now because how good their food truck is going, it's open on weekend only (the restaurant). read more

I've been going to lunch truck since they stated on 5th st. Now they are located in front of the park. I'm changing my review to a one star, why? The last time I went to the restaurant to buy food.. it was stale no flavor. I thought I'd give it one more chance, failed again! It's a taco truck that is always parked by a tiny park in Avocado heights. You might see a couple horses trotting by while you eat your taco. For starters the ceviche is good, the food is OK in there Mariscos truck parked in front of one of these parks out here in La Puente. But the woman that takes your order she's either racist, or she just doesn't like me and this was my third time ordering food there with a polite attitude and I was enthusiastic in trying to order in the language it was in. But she seem to have an attitude every time that I came up to the truck. This time she took my order down wrong she didn't wanna answer my questions I don't know if she speaks English or not.
