You can order a few dishes and serve a group, even the tacos are big, shareable, if messy. This afternoon I shared fat rice and tequenos with a friend. it was more than enough. We're both hardy eaters, and we didn't finish. The rice dishes are in a fried rice style, though slightly sweeter than what I usually eat. For the fat bastard they add chicharron glaseado, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, octopus, avocado, broccoli, carrots and more. It's a full on fusion of flavor and ingredients. The spreadable fried avocado is an unexpected gift to pair with the fried shrimp, or with a bit of rice, sublime. If you order this, you're going to want to pair this with something to cut the fat, so try a coke zero, a sparkling water, or a beer. The restaurant is small-to medium, maybe 10-12 tables, so service is smooth and easy. You watch can even watch your food be cooked and plated. Waitstaff is attentive, but not overly so, still it's easy to get their attention and given the low number of tables, they take care of requests quickly. I have eaten in the restaurant a few times and just as many, if not more, delivery, and it is solid all the way around. The delivery is not going to be as good as in the restaurant, mostly for the texture loss with time in packaging. They do pack ingredients separately to keep as much as they can intact, and the flavor isn't lost on the road, just the crispness of the batter or the heat of the octopus, for example.

Didn't have the burrata because I don't care for truffle but it got devoured by the table. Beef carpaccio was also super excellent although not pictured. I split a pizza and salad with a friend and it was great. Pizza was just the right amount of cheese and salt in a fun shape. The apple and pear salad was great. Salmon and ribeye were also cooked perfectly. Then top it off with the best Apple strudel. Warm and melty, cannot say enough good things. Great service in both English and Spanish. Will definitely be back!

The prices are a bit high for Monterrey, probably because it's located in a plaza surrounded by American hotel chains for international business travelers. Still, comparably cheap to what you'd pay in the US or abroad. Not sure if this is always the case, but when we went, none of the staff spoke English, and I didn't see any English menus either. Not a problem for most US travelers such as myself, but just a precaution for anyone with zero experience with Spanish. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

It appears to be a chain and while there were a number of travelers when I arrived it soon was locals only which I took as a good sign. The reason for 2 stars? Despite being the ONLY table in the restaurant at one point, and never being more than 1 table per server, I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time and then had to rush to catch my shuttle. The funny thing was my server was not too bad, but the bartender seemed to intentionally avoid making my drink. He would stand there doing nothing and when she asked for the drink he suddenly had to put glassware away. It was like he was mad at her. I'd recommend it for a casual lunch or if you're staying across the street and don't care when you get served, otherwise there are several other restaurants in that strip mall that frankly looked and smelled more interesting. Give it a pass until they straighten out their service.

So far I've tried their ceviche and Aguachiles, as well as their octopus and the fish stuffed with seafood everything's always been fresh and delicious, had to say the have an appetizer of the fish and shrimp soup called Consomé Bichi I think and man it's a great way to start the day specially if you are feeling a little bit dehydrated (Wink wink) If you happen to be at the area and want to enjoy a good seafood restaurant without breaking bank this is a winner in my list. Both times we had the avocado salsa and every last thing was great. Our drinks were mediocre the first night, but on visit #2 we had some bomb cocktails (hers was Jamaica-based;'mine was Gin with blueberry juice ). Service and ambiance are cool. This is a chain so we can't speak of the other locations, but this one was great for couples and big groups alike. Make a reservation if you're dining on the weekend!
