Unfortunately this practice has a "one size fits all" approach to Hormone Replacement Therapy…read more I attempted to talk to my doctor (Diane Bruessow) about some negative symptoms I was having early on in my HRT journey and instead of trying to find a solution - like switch to weekly injections instead of bi weekly, she told me she'll discuss other options when I see her again in 3 months. I didn't receive one phone call or email during those three months asking how my symptoms were. After seeing her for my 3 month visit and finding out she was not going to change anything I stayed pretty quiet for the 45 min and didn't feel comfortable talking about my symptoms/feelings on the matter because there was obviously no negotiating. I decided to get a second opinion and after looking at my blood work and levels my new doctor found that the dose was too low and I was experiencing symptoms of low testosterone. Some other things: Once you finally reach Diane via phone (might take some time) you'll then have a bit of a wait in order to get your first appointment... mine was a little over a month. My new doctor was able to get me an appointment within 24-48 hours. Ms. Bruessow was more than an hour late to my first appointment and did not reimburse my parking voucher (office does not have a parking lot so you will need to use a public parking deck on an adjacent street). She's disorganized and a little all over the place. She spent a good chunk of each session trying to connect to the internet or looking for a document/item she misplaced in her extremely small office. The office didn't even have their own sharps container. She enjoys talking about trans statistics, trans health conferences she's attended and you can tell she has a lot of interest in the psychological aspect of gender/trans issues ... which is great... if there weren't a slew of red flags in her approach to hormone treatment. She's friendly and enthusiastic about spreading information about Transgender issues in health care however I just didn't see that same approach when it came to dealing with the actual patient/treatment plan. I'm thankful that she was able to help me get started with the hrt process by referring me to a good counselor who provided me with my first letter but in the end it just wasn't a good fit.

Diane is amazing! She is a holistic provider that cares about her patients and always puts their…read morehealth and wellbeing before anything else. She is very clear about what she can deliver and what you can expect. The practice uses online methods for both intake forms and payments which really makes seeing a new provider a lot simpler. I knew Diane when she was working with the original owner of Healthy Transitions and she has carried this very unique and caring practice forward with empathy and grace. Modernizing doesn't hurt either;) I am not sure what the other reviewer experienced, their description makes me wonder, if they left a review for the right provider...? I highly recommend seeing PA Bruessow, she's one of the good ones.

The front desk quite the opposite, after yesterdays encounter and today's I have decided to leave. They called me 6 days ago to remind me of my appointment, great, appreciate that, but then they go "did you get blood work done?",I haven't seen her in months due to the covid. So how can i go get blood work, and then they tell me only labcorp is doing blood work, i look at 5 different locations, none had any times for me to get my blood done, before my appointment. Receptionist basically said it is my fault?! She goes would you like to reschedule? um yeah, why would i go just to say hi. I then ask at this point i still prefer doing Webex, said "cant happen" because "I" am cancelling the appointment. I just hung up, can't deal with stupidity. Called again today to make sure they cancelled the appointment. Asked to send blood work (i knew that wasn't going to happen) The doctors seem great, front desk is quite horrible and lynhdurst office, is 10xs worse with their receptionists. Ask questions and get "uh i have to talk to people groan before the response" Also if you need your documents for any other reason besides them, expect a song and dance, cause you're not getting it

I was recommended to Cadoo Medical PC and was hopeful from the start. When I first called to…read moreschedule an appointment, I was placed on a waiting list. I waited close to eight months before finally receiving a call and I was genuinely excited. I completed the long phone intake without hesitation because I truly believed this would be the beginning of consistent, personalized care. On the day of my appointment, I arrived on time and was seen by a Nurse Practitioner who was very thorough. I completed blood work, urine testing, an EKG the full workup. I was told I would receive a follow-up call with my results. At no point during that visit did I see Dr. Cadoo. I assumed perhaps she would come in later, but that never happened. When it came time for my follow-up, I was informed that the Nurse Practitioner I originally saw was no longer there, and I would now be speaking with another Nurse Practitioner. Again, I was understanding. However, once more, I did not see or speak with Dr. Cadoo. I was referred out, but without ever having had a direct interaction with the physician whose practice I had waited months to access. I want to be clear I am not unfamiliar with healthcare. I have over 25 years in the medical field, so I fully understand how practices operate, the role of Nurse Practitioners, and the demands of running a successful brand. I respect that Dr. Cadoo has built something impactful, and I even admire the balance of family and career that many providers strive for. However, at some point, patients need to meet their doctor--especially after such a long wait. If new patients are continuously brought in but never actually seen by the physician, it raises concerns. The frequent staff turnover also felt unsettling, particularly when it comes to continuity of care. This is not about convenience or a casual visit--this is my health. I'm not looking for a place to "check in" every now and then. I'm looking for a provider relationship built on trust, presence, and consistency. I truly wish the practice continued success, but unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations as a patient.

I responded to every one... no response. I made a complaint to the licensing board and she replied with outright lies. AVOID. Now I keep calling to get her medical malpractice carrier. I guess I'll have to wait for my lawyer to contact her. No integrity whatsoever. I followed every direction she gave me to a t and this is the treatment I get. I gave her chance after chance and finally said I may have to sue her and her response was "that's what the malpractice insurance is for." Is that any way to practice medicine?
