    Chilaquiles con salsa verde
    Stacey B.

Okay, so I gotta keep it real here. I stopped in here because the ratings were good. The place was completely empty at around 7 pm on a Thursday. I walked in a looked around. The lady behind the counter did not look up from her crossword. A male employee walked by me without a word as well. I seated myself, figuring that was how it was done here. The lady came out from behind the counter and spoke to me only in Spanish. If I didn't have some meager Spanglish ability I would have been at a loss. So, I muddled through, ordering a beer, a small ceviche, chips and salsa, and the chilaquiles with green salsa. I did not realize at the time that the ceviche came with chips and that the chilaquiles was also served over chips. The waitress, to her credit, realized the gringo probably didn't need chips and salsa to go with all my chips and well...salsa, so she never brought me those. When I inquired, she simply gestured around the table, like "how many more chips do you want?" After the slow start, her service was fine. The beer was Corona, so no surprises there. The ceviche was good, with a strong lime flavor, which I like. While it was not the best ceviche I have ever had (I am spoiled by all the Peruvian ceviche in Miami), it was very fresh and flavorful. The chilaquiles (think shredded chicken nachos) were also very good. I loaded them up with a spicy salsa de habanero as well as a salsa rojo. Both kicked it up a notch. I rated them 3 stars based on my impression as I walked in and was ignored, and also because I have had some amazing ceviche and Mexican food in my life, and while good, this was not amazing. Not sure at this point if I would return or not.

Perfect spot for a quick sandwich and chips. I ordered the Italian and it was excellent. Loads of salami, roasted peppers, provolone, lettuce, tomato and onions. A perfect combination of flavors. The chips were organic and excellent. I chatted with the owner and after 6 they switch over from sandwiches and prepared food to a Mexico city Taqueria with a rotisserie outside. I will be making a trip back to check out the tacos. I confirmed with her that they serve no yellow cheese so it should be authentic.

Been to this place twice and I've enjoyed the food each time. I think they are a catering company with this restaurant on the side. Typical daily options are presented in the refrigerated case that can be heated up at home. There is also a printed menu for freshly prepared items such as sandwiches and salads. The staff was very helpful when I asked for descriptions. I ended up ordering the Berry Good salad with chicken, and it was awesome. Who knew a salad could be so good? At night, they have pork on a rotating spit to trim fresh for al pastor tacos, topped with sliced pineapple, cilantro, and onions. Haven't seen it this authentic since I was in Mexico. I also fell in love with their mini apple pies which are a nice treat when you want something sweet for the moment.

Their website says they are "much more than a Mexican" eatery and it's true. In addition to ceviche, tacos al pastor and cochinita pibil, you can get club sandwich, caesar salad, and meatloaf. The baked goods are also a mix of cultures. There's the traditional brownie and pecan pie displayed alongside tres leches cupcake and chocoflan. We enjoy their Mexican offerings more. So we tend to go after 6pm. That's when they bring out the al pastor on a spit and grill up street tacos. Can't say it's the best we've ever had. But it does the job when we are in the Stone Oak area. The service is always nice. Smiles from every team member. That alone would make us come back for more.

Met a friend here for lunch. I think it's pretty new. I got the vegetable lasagna. The woman helping me asked if I wanted a salad with it and I did! The salad was fresh and the dressing was unique and delicious. The lasagna was very good as well and the pasta tasted homemade. They also have a small selection of sandwiches and salad and then a case of homemade goodies. They have a nice variety of desserts as well. I recommend the pound cake with sugar beads all over it! I believe this is a catering company which also serves lunch. They had nice seating both indoors and outdoors.

We stumbled across this place by accident. It was amazing! Everything tastes freshly made. They have a lot of drink and beer options. We got the costra with cochinita pibil served with corn tortillas. It was amazing! I love the healthy option to get tacos de lechuga (lettuce wraps). The dessert options looked so good we couldn't say no. I wish we lived on this side of town to visit more often. Any place that has all you can eat street tacos is worth a visit!

I went here about a year ago due to the recommendation of a friend and it was amazing. I got the bowl of tortilla soup and it was a large size and fairly priced. This place reminds me of street mexican food, not tex mex. This time, got the fideo and alambre tacos with pastor, AMAZING. I would recommend everyone to go here! I ate half of my food and am full, still have half for tomorrow!

    Charro Beans

Mexican cuisine just like mom's kitchen. The street tacos and charro beans had amazing flavor. The restaurant is very clean. The owners are friendly and hospitable. A must stop for you lunch cravings.

Pair that with their handmade thick chips, and you're already winning. Then came the mini tacos: chicken, birria, and barbacoa. The chicken surprised me by being the standout, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The birria followed right behind with that deep, rich flavor that makes you stop mid‑conversation. The margaritas? Smooth, refreshing, and sneaky enough that you don't realize how strong they are until you stand up. What sealed the deal was the service. The staff was kind, patient, and didn't rush me even though I lost track of time chatting on the phone. They even let me hang out until my Uber pulled up. Tlahco isn't just good, it's amazing. 10/10 experience.

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
