Our first frustration was rescheduling three times - first because of weather (which turned out to…read morebe nothing), then because the part was not in stock, and then because the part that was in stock got broken when a tech bumped into it. Then when they finally did the glass replacement, they were not able to do the calibration because of wind. My husband had to drive 20 minutes to the shop, and the process took less than 10 minutes. About 35 days later, our vehicle dashboard showed several warning signs. We reached out to Safelite to see about the warranty, another frustrating process. After several phone calls and an email, including being promised a call back within 48 hours which never came, we were told the warranty was good for only 30 days. We ended up taking our vehicle to our local mechanic, where they recalibrated the camera at a cost of $220. We were disappointed at every turn with the inconvenience, lack of communication, and additional cost.
