The worker very unprofessional says to me ....well your mailbox still works....I said I want it fixed....I even called the builder and they assured me it would be fixed....nope not fixed.... I called the police finally....the builder said not our fault...... Doing business with Parr Marine Construction was a disappointing and frustrating experience. The…read moremain problem is that they just do not feel that it is important to actually do what they promised the customer they are going to do. They are the masters of "no one showed up, no one called". In July I accepted a proposal by Parr to install a boat lift at my home. The ONLY requirement was that the job had to be completed by September 30. This was readily agreed to, no problem. After hearing nothing from the company for 2 months, I reached out around mid September because I was concerned about them making the agreed deadline. From this point on I have a very well documented series of broken promises to show up and complete the job. (Well documented because you can not reach them by phone. The best you can do is send an email and hopefully get a reply in a couple of days). In fact, I never spoke to Mike Parr again after the initial meeting in July. They simply don't show up when they promise to. They don't even bother to call and make up an excuse as to why they didn't show. They don't even feel there is anything wrong with treating the customer with so much disrespect. They think I am the jerk for complaining. Of course there is more to the story but you get the gist. Needless to say the deadline was missed by almost 2 weeks. Bottom line is there are several reputable companies in Charlotte county that do sea walls, lifts and docks. You will be much happier choosing one of them.

We hired FMW to construct a dock. They filed a permit but not a NOC. They came out and put in 4…read morepoles and hit rock. They said that they would have to come back because the equipment they needed was in the shop. We didn't hear from them for 2 weeks so my husband contacted them. He was told they were on a big job and would contact him in a week to 10 days. Well, we may not be a big job but we are still paying customers who have been waiting.Those weeks went by and nothing. He contacted them again and was told they'd be in contact as soon as they can. Another couple of weeks went by and nothing. Finally, my husband contacted them and told them we no longer needed their service. We would find someone else. We never signed a contract only had their quote and dock design. The dock was supposed to be done by the end of March and it is now the first of June. Do not recommend. BTW, the company that came out to look at what FMW did told us that everything they had done was not right. They cut off poles that should have been left full size and spacing of poles for walkway/ramp to dock was incorrect.
