Eric Wetherington, his office staff, and his on-site workers go above and beyond what is required. They communicate promptly and accurately in addition to showing up on time ready to accomplish the mission. They work diligently until each portion of the job is complete or until the end of the day, each time explaining exactly what has been done and what will be done next. They even tidy up before leaving the house. What took another restoration company one year to accomplish, WR&R has made happen in less than four weeks. Hire WR&R! *Keep in mind that when you get an estimate from a contractor, it is just that, an estimate. No one can tell what things may change during the course of work. Costs can suddenly increase, or problems can be encountered, which make the final bill more than the original estimate.*

They quoted a very fair price and we decided to hire them. Bill and his assistant (sorry, forgot his name) came out, made a couple of suggestions which we agreed to, and tirelessly cleared up our dock. After they were finished, we asked if they could add a few yards of rocks to our riprap, which they did. Conclusion: Very pleased with the results done by Bill and his assistant. They worked tirelessly and were very pleasant to deal with. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Don't trust these people! Took them 5 months to replace 1…read morepiling. They kept stringing us along that it would be soon for months. Worst part was when they finally came to do the work they left the boat sitting out of the water causing the barnicles to dry to the hull. This is such a amateur mistake, everyone knows barnicles come off easy in the water but ofer they dry they form a coral reef on the bottom of the boat. Even worse, instead of saying sorry they shouldn't have done that, the owners tried to convince us taking barnicles off is easier dry (Google and 100% of the cleaning people we talk to say the opposite). Them leaving the boat put of the water cost us nearly $5000. between cleaning and resurfacing the hull. You'll see I attached her saying its easier to remove barnicles dry and what the expert barnicle removers say and what google ai says...

They said that they would have to come back because the equipment they needed was in the shop. We didn't hear from them for 2 weeks so my husband contacted them. He contacted them again and was told they'd be in contact as soon as they can. Another couple of weeks went by and nothing. Finally, my husband contacted them and told them we no longer needed their service. We would find someone else. We never signed a contract only had their quote and dock design. The dock was supposed to be done by the end of March and it is now the first of June. Do not recommend. BTW, the company that came out to look at what FMW did told us that everything they had done was not right. They cut off poles that should have been left full size and spacing of poles for walkway/ramp to dock was incorrect.

Doing business with Parr Marine Construction was a disappointing and frustrating experience. The…read moremain problem is that they just do not feel that it is important to actually do what they promised the customer they are going to do. They are the masters of "no one showed up, no one called". In July I accepted a proposal by Parr to install a boat lift at my home. The ONLY requirement was that the job had to be completed by September 30. This was readily agreed to, no problem. After hearing nothing from the company for 2 months, I reached out around mid September because I was concerned about them making the agreed deadline. From this point on I have a very well documented series of broken promises to show up and complete the job. (Well documented because you can not reach them by phone. The best you can do is send an email and hopefully get a reply in a couple of days). In fact, I never spoke to Mike Parr again after the initial meeting in July. They simply don't show up when they promise to. They don't even bother to call and make up an excuse as to why they didn't show. They don't even feel there is anything wrong with treating the customer with so much disrespect. They think I am the jerk for complaining. Of course there is more to the story but you get the gist. Needless to say the deadline was missed by almost 2 weeks. Bottom line is there are several reputable companies in Charlotte county that do sea walls, lifts and docks. You will be much happier choosing one of them.
