We had previously used California Closets to install new storage in our garage and so we were familiar with their products. Unfortunately, the work on the main bedroom closet was a disaster. The installers not only cut a crude opening in the backboard to give access to a panel, they damaged the walls in two places and never mentioned their damage. Hardware finishes were substituted with plain black finishes. We had little choice for installation dates and had to fight to get the damaged surfaces properly repaired. We were very dissatisfied with their poor customer service - especially considering the high cost of the closet system.
