I suffered a back injury at 25 years old in 1990. Needless to say, it haunted me since then & my…read morelife was never the same. No one back then recommended Chiropractic adjustments. The several Dr.s I saw, gave me muscle relaxers & basically sent me on my way. Well, as an active person, I chose to continue on with my life in pain instead of living on muscle relaxers & becoming a couch potato. A few years later, the Dr.s began suggesting Chiropractic adjustments because they started to realize the relief most could bring to people with chronic neck & back pain. Unfortunately, in the 1990's era, they didn't appear to have the same knowledge as they do today. With that being said, no one was ever able to give me relief. So, I gave up & finally came to the realization that I would live with pain for the rest of my life. A few years ago, the decades of scar tissue in my back, began to transfer pain in other areas of my body & I couldn't get relief with PT or any of the local Chiropractors in my city. Once again, reluctantly, I decided to accept the pain. Then one day, a long time friend told me about Dr. Heath Lambert, whose office is in Brandon, Fl, which happens to be a 45 minute drive from my home. I looked at her & told her she was nuts; "I am not driving 45 minutes 2-3 times a week with back pain!" She said, "He isn't a normal Chiropractor; he is a miracle worker with a golden touch". After a year of fighting her on this, I finally allowed her to physically drive me the 45 min to Dr Lambert's office in Brandon & that was 2 years ago. He is the first person that gave me my life back & I am extremely grateful for him! It took a few months to break up 2 decades of scar tissue & educate me on repositioning my posture to my new, straight spine! I can't even wear the same shoes I wore before Dr Lambert. My spine was so out of adjustment, I would walk with a lean & it would wear my shoes down on the outer sides. Now, my shoes don't wear on the sides due to my straight spine, which in turn straightened my hips, knees & ankles! If you aren't getting any relief from your "standard" chiropractor, PLEASE try Dr Lambert! Thank you Dr Lambert for caring & going "out-of-the-box"!

After the first session, she told me she'd reach out within a few days to schedule our next session and send follow up notes with items I can work on. I didn't hear from her for about a week and a half (after I reached out to her). She scheduled our next session. The day before she cancelled it, stating that her son was sick. I understood. No big deal at all. The next week, cancelled again. I didn't hear from her for weeks after that. She told me the place she'd been working out of flooded and that we'd have to switch to distance reiki (which is not what I signed up for, nor is it what I paid for). I told her I wasn't comfortable with that and kindly asked for a refund. She didn't respond for over a week. And said she'd like to schedule a call to talk through things. I hesitated, but agreed to talk with her. I didn't hear anything back. So, a week later I told her I didn't want to continue in the program any longer (it was early November by this point). She changed the terms of our agreement, so she agreed to refunding the money I'd paid her upfront (I have her agreement in writing). She told me she'd initiated the refund and the money would be back in my account within 21 business days. After many emails, calls and texts asking where my refund is, I have yet to hear anything back. Lisa stole money from me. She is not a healer. She is a fraud. I have filed a police report and have turned her into the district attorney's office in the hopes of recovering the money she owes me. Beware of people who act like they're healers, but are really just looking to take advantage of vulnerable people.

I…read moreunderstand that seeking support in addressing mental health challenges is deeply personal and varies widely from person to person. I also understand that many people don't seek help because of a real or imagined social stigma to doing so. However, I believe it's important for all of us to share reliable resources that may be helpful to others in need of emotional healing or support. I chose the Holistic Mental Health Clinic as a resource for emotional healing, particularly in the area of post-traumatic stress. I was hesitant to make an appointment anywhere, and I am fortunate that I chose this clinic. The clinic provides a professional and safe environment in a medium-sized office building located in St Peterburg, Florida. It is located in a partly-residential area of the city on a main street where parking is not a problem. There is a dedicated parking lot next to the building that offers free parking. My experience at this clinic was rewarding. My counselor, Lynn, was very professional, intelligent, capable, thorough, and caring. I found Lynn to be reliable, dependable, well-grounded, and honest at all times. Lynn added professional guidance and value to my healing process and she taught me coping skills that were proven, balanced and effective. Lynn was never judgmental. She always had my best interests as her primary objective. Lynn never promised unrealistic expectations, and she skillfully facilitated my healing process emotionally, physically, and spiritually by offering insightful and proven strategies that I could adapt to my lifestyle. Although Lynn was an essential part of my healing process for whom I will always be extremely grateful, the professional relationship we had between us was based on self-empowerment and mutual cooperation, not dependence. She presented opportunities for healing and learning, but never encouraged me to do more than I was comfortable doing. She identified challenge areas that I had not seen, and gently but confidently encouraged me to push through areas of discomfort and challenge myself when I felt ready. As far as my expectations as to outcome, Lynn created mutually agreed upon goals for my sessions, clarifying both health-related and cost-related expectations. She never cut my sessions short. All my expectations were either met to my satisfaction or exceeded. My health insurance does not cover counseling, but my overall spiritual, emotional and physical well-being is something that I value and I juggled my budget to afford this investment in myself. I have never regretted that I did so and the results I experienced were both impressive and have been on-going. The clinic was at all times transparent in its billing practices, accepted credit cards as payment, and accommodated my scheduling and budget concerns to the extent it could do so. Like many professional organizations that are entirely service-based for individuals, this clinic similarly charges for "no show" appointments. I never had the impression that fees were more important than my well-being. I recommend this clinic for anyone experiencing a mental health challenge and I encourage you to set up an initial consultation. However, whether it will be a good fit for you -- or right for you at this time in your life -- is something you and someone at the clinic will need to determine (you should ask what the rate for an initial consultation would be in advance ). Best wishes to you, and God bless.

Recently I have been over my limit for almost a week which is unusual, so I sent an email requesting it to be increased. For some reason, this time the request was forwarded from Dr. Smith to the "manager" Traci who responded with a snarky condescending rude email and stated that she has up to 10 business days to review my medical request! Essentially insinuating that she is going to take her time in attending to a medical matter. She doesn't seem to understand that she works at a medical facility, and apparently treats a place like she's a bar manager. Based on other's reviews apparently the rude attitude from customer service is common here. I won't be ever going back here again and I suggest you take your money elsewhere as well if you want to be treated like an actual patient.

I saw Dr. Monica Esposito on May 7th and it was a very frustrating and disappointing experience,…read morenot just with her but the entire company. This was my first time being a transfer patient after already being approved for medical marijuana for over three years. My previous doctor had me at 4 oz of flower every 35 days due to my tolerance increasing over the years and 2.5 not being enough to manage my symptoms anymore. My previous doctor had amounts that were working perfectly for me. Unfortunately I got tempted to "save money" with Doc MJ's $70 transfer patient promotion on Groupon -which still ended up costing about the same as a renewal at my other doctor ($150)- after they insisted I pay $60 for the Doc MJ mental health evaluation in addition to the $70 appointment fee. I was under the impression that the state has already approved me for 4oz of flower and it shouldn't be a problem keeping the same regimen as I had before and I would be able to purchase flower after my appointment but I was very wrong. I was reset to the same dosages as a brand new patient(2.5 oz of flower with my inhalation/aggregate amount being basically cut in half). She put in a request to increase flower to 3oz (which the state approved right away) but said that she won't increase it until 7 months out at my next appointment. During my appointment I stressed to the doctor that I mainly use flower, cartridges (inhalation), and sometimes edibles but I don't use the other routes. The inhalation amount was decreased from 400mg per day to 200mg and other routes were increased on my prescription such as oral, topical, sublingual, and suppository. Due to my amounts being changed I have not been able to purchase flower which is the easiest route for me to afford. I'm getting very stressed out because I'm about to run out of flower because my flower amount has stayed at 0 oz available to be dispensed since my appointment. Even though I was approved, I'm still not able to access my medicine and now I have to worry about running out with my inhalation amount since it was SIGNIFICANTLY decreased. None of the representatives I talked to when scheduling gave any warning of how my amounts would be affected during this process as a transfer patient (which they should disclose when they're encouraging people to transfer doctors).very disappointed that it is impossible to get ahold of the doctor, there's no options to leave messages about your concerns and no way to contact them to ask them to help you. They have no care for their patients. Before my appointment I had about 7gs of flower left available to be dispensed but after the appointment that completely disappeared. I saw Dr. Esposito on May 7th and even though I was approved, I will not be able to access my medicine until May 13th and there's no way to call her or leave a message, it all goes to a call center. They made me fill out a request form which takes 12-14 business days to be processed, and I don't even know if it will be approved, but if it is, I'll still have to wait for approval from the state after that. I just know that I paid for a medical card and drs appointment for medical marijuana but now I'm not going to be able to access it the way that a PATIENT should. I'm going to keep running out of medicine for my PTSD, ANXIETY, AND DEPRESSION. Extremely disappointed with the DOC MJ experience and I've been crying everyday since my appointment due to the stress of it.
