This is the third time that we've hired GT Tree Service to remove a problem tree for us. This time…read morewe had a large water oak die after being hit by lightening, and It was in an awkward place - up against a privacy fence in a crowded back corner of our lot. They were able to get their equipment to it and remove the tree without doing any damage to either our, or our neighbor's property. Importantly, they were able to do the job that same week As usual, their crew was fast, courteous, and cleaned up extremely well after the job. Over the years we've hired tree services at least six times, but the last three times have all been with GT Tree Service, their bids have always been low and they have always done an outstanding job. They are a Milton company but they have no problem with coming to our house in West Pensacola.

I would absolutely recommend Gary and his crew for any tree cutting services. He and his crew…read moreshowed up on time and started working immediately. They were very diligent with their cutting to ensure my property as well as the neighbor's property was not damaged during the process. The work entailed trimming back one oak that was growing into my neighbor's and my power line as well as some overgrowth along the tree and overhang over the driveway. Additionally a large 40 foot oak in the backyard was starting to grow over the house and into the neighbor's yard and we just wanted to avoid any future damage from hurricanes. Gary and his crew were able to climb the large oak in the back and use other large equipment to get into the trees. They were able to haul away all the tree limbs/branches in their large trailer and even swept up and used a power blower to clean up the area. There were a few things that set Gary and his went above and beyond on: - asking throughout the process if I wanted extra limbs cut off and if I was happy with the work. - offering to cut down a rotten stump - offering to cut down small overgrowth around the trees - going back over each cut to ensure that grow back correctly. - teaching about trees and their growth - blowing away any saw dust that landed on my neighbor's cars (happy neighbors make good neighbors) Again, would recommend to anyone who needs tree services in the Pensacola/ Milton/ Pace area and wherever Gary services.

This place is something! We were blueberry picking at their far more rugged, middle of the woods…read morelocation called the tree farm and they suggested we stop here if we'd never been. Being a gardener I couldn't resist being it was 4 miles away. Needless to say, I was impressed. They had a wonderful selection of plants, flowering and none, as well as tropical. Plenty to make your garden colorful like the classics: azaleas, hydrangeas, roses etc. and the fragrant with two types of jasmine as well as gardenia. They've got grasses, pots, stones, stepping stones, gifts, fountains, potting soil and even carnivorous plants! Huge ones. I didn't even get into the greenhouse to meander because I found what I was after on my initial stop. The staff were helpful. And we went to the cafe onsite too after collecting our plants. We had iced lattes in the small little cafe and it was cozy and so relaxing in the heat to sip our lattes. They also offer gelato. Perfect if you have kiddos on your shopping adventure. I enjoyed this place quite a lot and expect I'll be back as I grow my garden.

Follow up to his reply. That's an absolute lie. No one contacted me, no note was left. When I…read morecalled you about my tree because someone saw your company working in the yard behind me - you were completely confused about it and in the dark. You said you would get back with me and never did. I contacted you yet again and you said you would have an answer for me by the next Friday. I have all my text messages for that. You never got back to me and your comment regarding one of your guys cutting it off is the first I've heard of this from you right here. The limb was perfectly healthy and NOTHING was on it. The limb was strong and it was low. It made a cool place to sit, which is what we loved about it. Also, NO ONE asked my permission before cutting the limb so please don't make this like you were doing me any favors for cutting off a perfectly good limb that was a part of my tree's charm. Saying you did it for free when without my knowledge is REALLY rich! I really don't appreciate your made up explanation which is a completely untrue statement and a pathetic excuse at that. Original comment.....I contacted the owner about my tree being cut in error when they were working on the yard behind me. He said he would contact his employees to see who was responsible. He said he'd get back with me twice. He never did. Just kept putting me off. If this is how they treat people I certainly don't recommend them!!

When the work was done they left it much larger and never touched the sides, with we CLEARLY talked about doing. They have a lot of excuses and reasons why it wasn't done according to the pre agreed on contract, but, at the end of the day, it's over 8' tall and they never trimmed the sides. Now they want more money to come finish it. Pretty typical work these days, I guess.
