Rude. Unprofessional. Called Divens and one other company to get quoted for work to be done since we had never had to have anything like it done before and wanted to know what it would involve and get a better idea of cost to get done. Scheduled a time for him to come out (in the morning) and he didn't show. Called him after waiting 2 hours, he doesn't answer, left a voicemail. He calls back a short time later and explains something came up. Ok no problem, people have things come up. Says he could come out within the hour. I explain that I had also arranged one other company to be come to provide a quote within the hour that evening and didn't want to make it akward for both companies (since one was supposed to be in the morning and one in the evening.) He then tells me, "Since you're shopping around, it's probably better you just go else where because I'm not the cheapest around." Then proceeded to hang up on me. I never at any point said I needed nor was I looking for the cheapest service. We were simply looking into more than one company and making an informed decision before spending a lot of money to have large trees removed from our back property. Needless to say, I went with another company not because they were the cheapest because they weren't but because they knew how to be professional and had everything to get the job done safely and on time.
