Went to the store to pick it up was told it wasn't there, asked for a follow up call which never came. Called again, discovered the ownership had changed and this is now Tossi's Custom Jewelry (not able to locate on Yelp). After several conversations with her, I was told my item was ready. Went there to pick it up, the ring had not been polished or sized as requested. She told me if I would give them another chance she would resize it at no charge to make things right realizing that this had been a disaster. I agreed stating as long as it was not going take months. I finally reached out this month (November) as I had not heard anything. I received a call back saying that it was ready and that they had called and emailed me a month ago, neither of which I received. Yesterday I drove the hour and a half it takes me to get there (I also moved during this process) and discovered the door was locked however she was there doing some work and reluctantly let me in, seemed put out to have to open the safe and then said the ring had been resized but she would now have to charge me for that - "I mean I know she was supposed to do that and didn't but.." is what she said to me. She got on her computer and said "oh, I guess this was set up as no charge so whatever I guess". My response was, "that is what you said". I left and will never return. If not for the interaction I had yesterday, I would not have left a review since she had agreed to make it right, however yesterday's experience changed my mind.

I purchased items on my Kohl's card on 11/29/24 in the Berlin VT store. I was going to Kohls at…read moreanother location a few days later, so I decided to check my account online. The purchase I made had gone through with a DUPLICATE purchase for the same date pending. Considering I had just made a payment and should have had enough credit to use that day, this was incorrect. I immediately called Kohl's customer service. The first person I spoke to looked at my account, and said yes they charged you twice for the same thing. I said I wanted it reversed immediately, it was affecting my available credit. He said he couldn't do that and transferred me to another dept. The woman I spoke to there told me that it would take 4 days to drop off. It is STILL showing pending. I told her I have had this problem with this store 2x last year. At that time I was told by YOUR customer service, it was the store. That they are hitting something when cashing me out that rings up twice, even though it only shows up once on the receipt. I had a problem then too, had to wait, but at least they made an effort to reverse it. I am being told there is nothing they can do and this is normal when a charge goes through, that sometimes it can charge twice , one pending until the original charge goes through. And then the second one will drop off. What kind of logic is that? I called again yesterday. Got the same thing. They are not reversing it. They are doing nothing. This is their ERROR, whether in the store or customer service. They don't care, and are NOT taking responsibility for this. I am extremely dissatisfied that the DOUBLE charge is still there. I did shop at another Kohl's the day I checked my account. I didn't use my Kohl's card. I have been a customer for years, and honestly think we all deserve better. When I called this should have been corrected immediately. The fact that this has ONLY happened at the Berlin store, is a question too. I would like the duplicate charge off my card IMMEDIATELY!!! This is seriously make me rethink shopping at Kohl's. Just to wrap up here, I just tried again....Was told the same exact thing. That there is nothing they can do. There is only 1 charge, and they have to wait for the pending to drop off. In the meantime it's affecting my available credit. Wow! Great customer service NOT!!!

Honestly I rarely use these, so trying to be kind, I told him, "NBD, I use my phone for that" .... But, then it stopped ticking 2 days later. When I returned to the store, I requested he place a new battery in & asked that he show me the package (so I could check the expiration date). He walked out from the back with just the expired battery he removed from my watch to show me. So, I said, "No, I want to see the package of the NEW battery you're putting in, so I know it's NOT EXPIRED." He returned with his supply (i.e., 2 batteries: both expired 2020). I asked him for my $15 back, and he REFUSED because he said I did not have my receipt. Then, to make matters worse! ... on my Google 1-STAR Review of LIPPA's he lied, saying he "could not find my name anywhere in his computer system" ~ trying to make it appear as if I had the wrong Jewelry Store (funny... He never did ask for my name today; he simply stated without my yellow receipt, he would not REFUND ME $15 for dishonestly placing an EXPIRED 2020 WATCH BATTERY in my wrist watch) A THIEF is a THIEF (thieves always lie; they have, or they get caught) and a LIE is a LIE: a Tiger doesn't change their stripes, no matter how big, or small their kill is. Buying rings can be an overwhelming experience but Mike and the staff were super helpful on site and thoroughly went over questions such as what we wanted; what was important to us; likes/dislikes; etc - and used that info to narrow the focus and show us options that would potentially work. Both the bride and groom are super happy with the results and Lippa's wedding bands will be with us the rest of our lives. We highly recommend Lippa's.
