Decent Mexican food! Really large menu and fun decor, but service could of definitely used some work. The chips and salsa were good but the salsa was very spicy! We were happy it also came with bean dip but if you want more bean dip they charge. Portions were huge and food was good. The beef tasted a bit off but overall it was a decent meal. Nice stop if you are in the mood for a sit down Mexican restaurant.

We like the Marieta's happy hour. They have decent specials on beer and margaritas. They also have complimentary chips and salsa, sometimes we'll even score a complimentary small quesadilla and nachos plate. We love Marieta's...BUT, the bar needs to be completely leveled and redone. It is a bar from years' (decades) past. The bar top is faux wood Formica with a bulbous tuck and rolled green Naugahyde "armrest" in front. Which makes it diffifult to eat as your plate is a foot away. The bar itself is small and can only accommodate eight bar sitters. The barstools are the same green as the bar and every bit as old. The four booths along the opposite wall need to be destroyed. They are terrible and look to be from a circa 1960's diner. They need to be torn out and replaced with four-tops. Not only would it be more aesthetically pleasing, but would allow for additional seating - and comfort. The bar has one TV. Whoever gets there first gets the remote. Go early!

Chips and salsa were good. Caldo de res was not as good as I've had. The meat tasted old and the squash was hard and chewy...either too old or not cooked right. The albondiga soup had miniature meatballs that tasted like Costco bought. Average Mexican food at best. The service was good. Haven't been here for quite some years and first time seeing this place empty for lunch! Not coming back...sorry.

We LOVED Marieta's! Great food! Great service! And the atmosphere was packed with people enjoying some good, traditional Mexican food. Theres lots of Mexican places between our house and the 20 miles we drove to get here but we heard it was awesome and was well worth the drive. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a good Mexican meal.

The food here is good. We love the Chios and the salsa go with it. It's very crunchy and the red salsa is spicy but not too spicy. My husband got the meat balls soup and it's good. It's perfect for the cold weather. Enchiladas is great. I love both chicken and beef. Great customer service.

Solid 3 stars . All I would order here is the fajitas. They are pretty good . Large portion and a good price . The other food we tried was below average. The carne asada was pretty dry . The atmosphere was nice and the staff are friendly.

First experience, 5 star. Our waiter was funny & had great service. The restaurant feel is like a long term family restaurant. Kind of outdated but that's a part of being around for so long. Our order was delicious & fast service. We ordered a combo order: Tamal w/ enchilada & enchilada w/ taco. Our bill came out to be $32 including tax. Would try again!

I re-parked my car and entered the 'arena' and committed to stay for one bout. The woman behind the register had the calm of someone who's seen every kind of hunger. "What's the Filipino favorite on the menu?" I asked. She didn't blink. "Pac Man Burrito." Just two nights ago, I was cheering the Pacquiao-led team on Netflix's Physical: Asia. Tonight, I find myself face to face with a champion $21.99 burrito aptly named after him, or at least his nickname. It arrived cleaved in half on a plate. Probably so that it won't look as intimidating, but both halves looked like a pair of white boxing gloves! Que horror! I had to manhandle the thing and squeeze it like a cheap date just to get my mouth around it. First real bite and bam...Tocino! That sweet, cured pork punching straight through the Mexican chorus line. I was maybe an eighth of the way in when the 'referee' behind the register asked "How's the burrito?" "I'm struggling" I said, salsa dripping on my chin. "This thing's got stamina." She nodded like she'd heard it before, and by the time I came back from the salsa vault with pico de gallo and Chile de Arbol refills, a to-go box was already waiting on the table like an exit strategy. Tortilla chips sat in small paper bags under a heat lamp. Every bite was warm, crisp and crunchy. I love their stainless steel salsa vault. No dusty air, no door-breeze contamination. Smart. The trash bin was stainless steel too with no leftover remnants or soda syrup splatter. Places that care about chips and salsa care about everything. I boxed the remains - half a burrito then called my nephew on the way to the car. "You eat yet?" "Nah." "Good. I'm bringing home a champion."

Overall…read moreit's a solid location for filipino fusion burritos - all their burritos are HUGE and can definitely last 2 meals. Their salsas are also veryyyy spicy which I wish they weren't. I think the least spicy salsa they have is either the pico de gallo or the chipotle, both of which are still decently spicy. They give you a few salsa cups for the salsa bar, but if you're eating in they also have salsa squeeze bottles in the fridge that you're free to use. As for their burritos I always get them cut in half to share them with my fiance. I enjoyed their breakfast burrito but I wish they put hashbrowns in them. Their tocino burrito is also good, but I somehow always end up getting the half that has way too much sour cream. We're not a fan of fries in burritos so we got it on the side and preferred it that way much more. The sausage is really good and flavorful, but the burrito as a whole is just too rich for me. This is however my fiance's favorite burrito spot.
