DO NOT use this business for your party rental needs. We rented 8 tables and 8 tablecloths for a graduation party and were told everything would be delivered the day before the event. Instead, the delivery showed up the morning of, cutting it way too close. Worse, 3 of the tablecloths were completely stained and unusable. When I called the owner, her response was, "I already left the store, I'm not turning around. You should have checked beforehand." Zero accountability, no offer to help, and a flat-out refusal to refund us for the damaged items. This was an important day for our family, and this business added stress instead of support. I've only ever written one other review for a place, and it was because the service was so great. However, I have no other choice than to write this review because the service was so terrible I need to write something. I've gone several times to this place for party events because it's convenient, but since the start I knew I should have never returned. I don't know if she's the owner, but the lady that runs the place is rude. She has no sense of customer service. Yesterday, I spent hundreds of dollars renting a canopy, tables, chairs, linens, and a backdrop for my sister's graduation. The backdrop alone was $250, which I thought was steep enough, but I got it because my sister wanted it. The woman came to set it up and told me I needed an extension cord. I didn't have an extra one. I'm surprised for $250 for the backdrop, she couldn't provide one or at least let know ahead of time that I would need one. She left, and I had my sister go buy an extension cord for the backdrop. We hooked it up and the lights on the backdrop didn't work. I called the woman twice, but she didn't answer. I then texted her to let her know the lights didn't work. She never responded. We had my sister's party, unable to take pictures as it got dark and the party started at 6pm. This was quite a let down as the lights were the main attraction. This certainly waa not worth $250. This morning I let the woman know on the phone that the lights didn't work and that I called her and texted her. She said she was busy. She said she would check the lights when she got to my house. So she gets to my house and checks the lights. Of course, they didn't work. I told she should at least refund me $50. She said she would check them again at the store because she said it could have been my extension cords. I told her that being that I'm not going to be present when she checks the lights at her store, how would I verify whether the lights work. She said that she would not lie to me. She said she would call me. Of course, she did not call. On top of all I paid, she still charged me a delivery fee which she had not done on the past. This woman is unprofessional and atheist. I've worked with many different party supply companies and this has been the worst. Completely unprofessional, we rented linens that were delivered filthy and with beans still on them dry that we had to flake and scratch it off of food debris. The chair covers didn't fit after we had asked if it was a stretchable material that would fit banquet chairs which they didn't. We had less that 15 hrs to acquire new set of chairs. They weren't used and it was a waste of money. I called and spoke with female owner and asked not for a refund but perhaps a small credit towards future use. She said no it was not her problem and should've tried them on before hand. In hind site she is correct but if asked and you assure they fit then we tend to trust your better judgment but lesson learned there. Runners also has stains. we tried to cover up with centerpieces or flip them. Poor quality all the way around. This could've been communicated better and I'm sure we could've reached an agreement but she was unreasonable and unsympathetic to the dilemmas she contributed to. read more

I rented a canopy, bouncer, restroom and sink for $345. When I placed my order a month in advance I left $100 deposit I told her that I would be back a week before the event to pay off my balance and stated this was ok. On my receipt it stated NO CANCELLATIONS but nothing about when fees were due. When I went in to pay my balance I asked about the delivery time and the lady stated that she had not booked anything yet because I had not paid my balance. Ummm then what is the purpose of deposit???? Anyway I pay it off and was told that everything would be delivered early. The day of the event at 7 am they delivered the canopy and the bouncer. The bouncer was ripped from one side and I noted to the guy so I wouldn't be charged later on for it. Now the canopy was installed but not secured. I asked the guys that put it up if that's the way it goes or needed to add weights. They stated that it was fine and no weights or tie downs were needed because the metal used was heavy enough. Ok fine. So where's the restroom and sink? " we don't know someone else is in charge of that, call Mimi" So I call about 3x and finally I get an answer. I was told she didn't know what was going on and that she would call me back in 5 mins. And of course no call. I call back 30mins later and was told they would deliver before 2pm. Ok that's fine my party starts at 5pm. It's 5 now where's my sink and restroom? I call no answer after 5 calls finally I get a response of " it was delivered by 2" if it was then why am I calling you. So she calls back and states that it's on it's way. Ok So while I'm waiting....my guest are screaming...what's the commotion....it was a windy day and the canopy was being pushed and the walls made my plastic pillars fall on my guest. We tried to tie it down to the fence but the wind was so strong it ripped where the tie goes and it got stuck to the fence and made a small hole. So by 6:30 I get the restroom but no sink...after a few unanswered calls I get a call back. I asked about the sink. her response was "sorry about the mis communication, but the man who delivered the restroom said that the next time you rent with him he will give you a great discount and he will be taking the sink shortly"...I'm sorry but I will not be renting from you ever. By 7:30 I get the sink. The next morning I had to pay a balance of $25 for a side wall and chairs I had ordered. I was told they would be open from 9am-11am I head over to make sure things were picked up and nothing it's 9:30 and no answer around 10am I get a call. Lady stated that she didn't pick up the phone because they open at 10am she said that she had told me 9 but because they didn't have anything to do at the store and to save money and not pay someone they will be open from 10-11am. So I asked about what time they would pick up the things was told by 5pm. I head over to her store by 10 am to be there as soon as she opened and she didn't show up. After a few calls and texts she responded at 10:41am when I had left. This lady wasted my time the day of my event and the day after. She then calls me and says she needs to charge me for the canopy wall $50. With taxes and my balance she charged me $82. And what about the stress you made me go through and my wasted time plus the canopy wasn't secure that's not my fault. Her response was" that's not my fault it was the person who delivered it, and I did give you a discount of $10 for delivery" I'm sorry lady but you are responsible because I rented from you not the person who delivered. Owner is a scammer and a liar. We needed to rent a tent, she told us it would be $120. She changes it to $180 eventually. 2. We order balloons. They are overpriced ($100) but whatever. It's raining on the day of the event, so we said cancel them when we went to the store to pay for the tent. Naomi seems annoyed and said she already bought the balloons. (It's a party store ... ) She then increased the price of the tent to $180. 3. It's the day of delivery and she tells my mom she will be here between 2:30 and 3 p.m. She comes at sunset looking amargada af. Instead of measuring with measuring tape, she is using poles and saying the tent won't fit, it can't be done. Once we catch her drift and say to make sure her pole is the size she's saying, she realizes she was wrong. She bitterly starts setting up the tent. She asks us which side is the entrance. We say the narrow side. 4. She starts packing up. I have gone inside and my dad is out there with her. They jet out. 5. I go outside. The tent is completely open on the side we wanted enclosed. My dad tells me they forgot the table runners, but they said they'll bring them later. 6. 9:30 p.m. rolls around, she calls my mom and says she's on her way with the table runners. 7. The pick up. This is the worst place to rent from. I went to rent some table covers and twice they were closed. When I finally was able to rent them the lady Noemi told me to make sure to return them on Sunday before 12pm because she was only going to open until 12pm. On Sunday I arrived and it was closed again. There was a note at the window that said she had stepped out. Myself and another lady waited outside for about 30minutes. The lady that was waiting for me said she had told her the same thing, to take everything back by 12pm. The lady tried calling Noemi several times and no answer. I text her also and she said she had to step out and if I can take them back. I informed her that I had to leave to work, so she asked if I can drop them off at her house. That is just plain so unprofessional and ridiculous but I said ok whatever. Well in the evening we tried to return them and we could not find the house. We text her and she just text us back the nearest crossstreets but was not helpful in any other way. By that time we were fed up and just went home. Today she called me to return them and I asked her if she was really going to be there because if not I didn't want to waste my time. She said yes and never apologized or showed any concern for the horrible unprofessional service she gave us and for our inconvenience. It should not have to be so difficult to do business with an establishment. If anything they should make your life easier by the service they provide. I've rented from Maria's party supply a couple of times now and although they can be difficult at times to get on the phone, I have to say that I've been very pleased with their products and services. I've rented chairs, tables and canopies from them. Their pricing is fairly competitive and they'll work with you for any additional accommodations you may need which I do like. I went in on June 9th to get last minute balloons for my daughter graduation party I was looking to buy the number balloons 2018 and .Prices are supper high $10 for each number I told them to much and the lady there offers to sell me the display numbers they had on the window for $20 all 4 I agree and they re-inflated the balloons so at check out I payed $35.24 while walking out one pops and one flys away . I went back to tell her and she charged me $10 for the ballon that popped which I believe I should of had paid and of course paid for the one that flew away which was my fault so I paid $23 and when I went to put them in the car I noticed another number had popped I was already bad cause I had to pay and when I went back in told her another number popped and try to charge me I told her that I shouldn't be paying for them if they were displays and who knows how long they been tapped to that window sun hitting but the smart mouth husbands tells me there in a/c all day I just smirked and told her I'm not paying for another ballon and she straight out said I can't give you a refund. So in another words either I pay or stay with 208 what can I do with that so I just took her the number and told here stay with u numbers and she yelled out I can't give u a refund !! At that point I didn't care I wasn't gonna let her ruined my special day !! Just be careful if you go there they seems nice put when it comes to making customers happy they suck at it !! She wrote up the receipt and I asked her about their cancellation time frame she said 1 week before the date of my event. So I said ok. Because I was not sure if I needed 80 or 60 chairs for my party. But on the bottom of my receipt she writes No Cancellations. I asked her to please write what she just told me regarding the one week to cancel prior to event day she kept telling me no its ok I know what I told you and I said well just write it down so I have proof of what she told me. She refused to write it down. I was very uncomfortable with that because she also had me sign the receipt. So she continued to tell me if I needed to order more chairs that what I originally ordered it would cost more money per chair because she had a lot of orders to fill and she made a point to show me the orders in her book. She wanted you to feel scared that if you did not order more, than you would have to pay a lot more money to rent the chairs. So on the day before my party she said they would deliver my order I said great I thought maybe we would have time to set up the night before. Well, at 8:00PM the owner's husband Mario and another person show up. So Mario proceeds to unload his truck and is leaving the 60 chairs and few tables in the front of my garage and I said the party is in the back yard and he tells me that's too far to bring my order. WHAT!! I have never had anyone who has delivered party stuff leave it in the front of the house and tell you you need to bring it to the back. Mario proceeded to tell me they had a lot of orders. I felt like saying so what. So he did bring them to the back and I let him know that I was not happy about how they run the business and I also told him I will never use him again and his response was that's ok I'm the owner. WOW! So I ask what time will you be picking the stuff up he said Sunday morning I said on Mother's Day he said yes and he told me to bring the stuff out to the front of the house they were not going to get them from the back of my house I said so you just want me to leave all of your stuff in the front of my house he said yes. So that is where we left it. It is now 7:35PM and the stuff is still there. Unbelievable!!!! I don't trust these people at all. I'm really sorry I used them. I ordered some linens (table cloths) some of them were stained. But now I know better and will not use them again. I just wonder if his stuff got stolen who would be responsible for it???????????? OK so now it is 8:32PM Sunday Mother's Day 2018. I told my husband maybe I better call Maria's party supply so I called Noemi and she answered the phone I told her who I was and what Mario told me, I was to leave the stuff in the front of my house and he would pick them up at around 11:00AM she told me no that is not what he should have told me she said Mario should have told me Monday 5/14/2018 and that he was not even around right now. So I told her that I will not be responsible for the stuff I rented if it get stolen. I did what Mario told me to do. And I told Noemi that I was not going to move the chairs and table and linens to the back of the yard again. She said for me to text my address to her and she will come get them. So I did just that and she said, "Thank you so much for letting me know." I hope she comes to get them! Don't rent from this company they scam people from their refundable deposit. They will make a mistake on a price and blame it on you! I made reservations 2 weeks in advance for 20 round tables and 200 white chairs for my wedding. They forgot about my order they were suppose to bring it the day before the wedding at 5pm and they didn't bring the items until 11pm and didn't stop bringing stuff till 1am!! If I never called they wouldn't have came and I called them at 7pm.They had to find different stuff to bring and barrow from other company's they ended up bringing 40 white chairs, a bunch of brown metal chairs, and a bunch of black and green chairs!!!!! Did I mention I ordered white chairs cause I wasn't going to have seat covers. So all my guest saw the ugliest of this. A lot of the tables were broken and ready to collapse. They didn't give me back my full deposit of $50 either. Everyone I know who has rented from them has had problems with the deposit with them.
