Went to rent scaffolding from Home Depot and surprise!! They threw all their stuff out and had nothing for rent! Luckily we did a google search and found this great spot! If you're in need for equipment or party rentals they have a very large stock for you to choose from plus their prices are so much better than Lowe's or Home Depot. The employees are so nice and well mannered, seems like a family owned business. They assisted loading & unloading everything carefully from my hubby's new truck. We'll be back soon for that awesome dunking machine!!! Everyone skip those large stores with horrible customer service and overpriced rentals. Give this place a shot they won't disappoint!

disgusting tent rental

I usually do not leave reviews, even with a bad experience, but I felt I had to share my experience with Hometown Rentals. They do have pretty decent rates compared to competitors in the area, but that is the only decent thing I can say about them, and even then like others have said, their delivery fee is ridiculous. To start, top to bottom everyone I came in contact with was very rude and clearly doesn't care about customer service and all seem like they hate their jobs. After setting up the tent, they left the 8 tables and 35 chairs and table cloths in our backyard and were about to leave when I asked if they were going to also set those up. The delivery guy snapped and me and said that's not included in their ridiculous delivery fee. Fine I am ok with that, but didn't think I needed to be given attitude for a simple question. We rented some easels, and one was missing a clip needed to hold the frame we made. I called the office and instantly knew this was not going to go well. The guy who answered again was very rude off the bat. He told me I needed to come to the office to get a new rental, and when I said we don't have time as we are setting up the event, he got more rude and blew me off. If you're charging that much for delivery, I at least expect everything to be delivered correctly and for you to correct your own mistakes. He eventually agreed to have someone drop off a new one "after hours" which seemed to piss him off. Then when discussing the pickup, I called to confirm when they would arrive as no one would be home for a good portion of the day. Again the same guy gave me a lot of crap even asking when they would come and that they could only come at a specific time. I literally had to tell him to relax on the phone, I just wanted to know what time they were coming. My biggest gripe though, was the absolute crap quality of their rentals. I posted pictures of the tent, which looked filthy and we all, including my guests, felt gross just sitting under the tent. Who wants to look up and see all that grime on there? Unacceptable. Also, the tables they provided all showed signs of severe water damage. They were all very wobbly and distorted, and they literally used duct tape to tape the tables back together. WTF? All in all, spend the extra $ using another local company, we've used a big one in the area before and everything was pristine quality and they didn't chew my ass out every time I asked a simple question. Its not worth the savings.

I was introduced to HOMETOWN RENTALS through work. Tim Hughes, the owner is awesome. He has been so accommodating & helpful for every event I used him for. For the San Dimas Toast of the Town, HOMETOWN came through and supplied more than enough items for 300+ guests. I am personally gong to use them for my wedding. I am doing a Garden Ceremony/Reception & they have EVERYTHING you need for a wedding... from chairs to gazebos to guest book stands. Also has every color imaginable for the linens.

Patio heater that spontaneously caught on fire.

This event is the Chamber's installation of the Board, while also recognizing the Business of the Year, the Small Business of the Year, and the NPO of the Year. I have attended this event for the last 4-5 years, and it was always the same, templated event. So, when I was put in charge, I wanted to level it up. I worked with one of our fellow Board members to craft an elevated, theme 1920's event with live music, cigar lounge, cigar girl, and some immersive experiences. This is where 100 House stepped in... and I was so happy they did. They helped us build out our Cigar Lounge with plush seating and fire pits, set up a dynamite stage and backdrop, provided beautiful seating for dining, and helped create a one-of-a-kind entryway as a photo op experience. Wow! They worked with me at every stage, provided a layout, and were on the dot with my production schedule. Their set-up team was stellar and had so much hustle, like it was their event. And, the strike team came back after the event and left the space as if they were never there. I will absolutely be using Hundred House again for all of my events this year... and hopefully for years to come.

In short: My Event Pros did a *good* job at my wedding. There were several issues, however, for the…read moreprice, they did accomplish many of the agreed-upon duties, but I can't recommend them whole-heartedly. We (husband and I) found them at a wedding expo and gave them our business because we figured it'd be easier to have 3 "parts" of the wedding (DJ, wedding coordinator, MC) coming from 1 business, to decrease the number of contact points (probably the biggest selling point). Leading up to the wedding, we would have calls with Erika (the wedding coordinator) about 1-2x/month to review details. It would be noted verbally and through the app that they request we fill out. I guess one of my mistakes was that I talked too much. In hindsight, we would ask her to state what the details were and I'd correct her if it was wrong. So, day of, one example that immediately set the tone unfortunately, was her asking me what color the dessert tablecloth would be. This was alarming because I had already filled out their app and sent a PDF with step-by-step details, in order of occurrence for the day. This document had information for everyone (eg. flowers, photo, DJ, MC). I also planned for florals to be organized in a certain manner amongst the tables and my florist informed me later that she attempted to alter my choices. I would also like to note that we (and some guests) felt that the MC was dressed too casually for the caliber of event, particularly because he was in the spotlight quite a bit. A suit would've been appropriate attire, not business casual. The biggest concern and sour memory of the wedding was a last-minute charge, which happened 24 hours beforehand. Our wedding party went through rehearsal with Erika and all was great. We then went to lunch. At the tail end of lunch, Alan called me to say that he was researching the venue and his trailer would not be fitting in the venue's parking structure. Because of this, he would need to rent a U-Haul and, of course, would need to charge me. To clarify: we completely understand charging of a rental unit for that reason. What absolutely appalled us was the fact that he informed me of this charge a literal 24 hours before contract event start time. I empathize with not having experience with every venue, but he knew he had a special trailer that would require additional accommodations. Therefore, research and big charges should have been made earlier; in my opinion, 2-4 weeks in advance at a minimum. At the end of the night, we let them know that they would unfortunately not be receiving a tip as the money we allocated had to compensate for the owner's poor planning. In the end, there were several details and decisions that were missed that impacted the big day. It is regrettable that when we think of the wedding, these are the top things that come up, instead of all the positive. If you are not a detail-oriented person, they will likely perform at a decent level for your needs.

From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. If you have been following them on social media like I was and have an upcoming event - reach out to them and get a quote! You will not be disappointed!

Their hard work and dedication to their clients truly shows in their work.
