Don't do it! I was excited to continue my doctoral studies…read moreat ACE, as it was a great alternative and a value. The school was also excited for me to continue my education journey by being attentive initially. Two enrollment issues were very difficult to resolve as ACE does not provide proper support. I understand the school is more cost-effective by decreasing overhead with staff, but when your "advisor" never reaches out or provides a response, one of two things is happening: They don't care, or they are overworked and can't manage the workload. Additionally, the studies did not meet the professional requirements that one would consider necessary for the course. For example, I was taking an organizational behavior course, and the entire course was based on the triple bottom line: what the organization is doing for the community and the environment. These are fundamental aspects of any organization but are not the entirety of its behavior. The course had little added value for my professional journey. The course load is manageable, but if someone takes more than one course per semester, which they recommend, it's not manageable. If you are working, forget about it. I was surprised that ACE doesn't follow the norm of two courses that are done one at a time per semester. Someone told me long ago that you get what you pay for. Lesson learned: a costly one at that. If you are thinking of going to ACE, I would encourage you to weigh your options and look at other schools that offer better program structures.

Pay in full if you can, each time, cause they are waiting. I'll just say.. Its a business that sells education, not an instituion of education that charges. And when I say sell.. again watch the busars office and the registars.. Don't assume, don't expect to hear from coaches or get anything after you signup.. I relocated to Indy after a shamefully long period without regular exams, out of laziness. Since my 1st visit, which was a bit longer due to years of plaque build-up, my appointments have been relatively uneventful and painless. They recently implemented a new dental water pick that is crazy cool; you can barely feel it compared to the old school scraping of the metal pick. The Faculty Clinic is a brief walk from my work, so I can get in and out and back to my desk within a hour. The clinic is a little different from the student-run clinic also offered by the school. It is basically like being a private practice patient where a dental faculty member happens to be your dentist. No students are working on your teeth, just fully fledged dental technicians and a faculty member. My dental techs have always been very friendly, but not too obtrusive with their small talk. They make me blush with compliments over my cavity-free teeth and dental health, like I should win an Oscar for flossing or something. Once the tech finishes up his/her cleaning work, the faculty member comes in to check the work and review your charts/x-rays. If you are a campus visitor, the Dental School has a large lot designated for dental customers. It's one of the few places on campus where it is easy-peasy to park; just remember to pick up a validation from the receptionist. I can't speak to the more in-depth, complicated procedures or orthodontic services...I've just experienced biannual cleanings and great patient care each time.
