I…read moredidn't realize how much I needed therapy at the time, and I was a bit skeptical of talk therapy in general, but after a couple sessions with Adina, I became convinced that this was exactly what I needed. Adina is an amazing therapist and is really great at asking the right questions to help me identify my thought patterns and where they came from. She listens with compassion and empathy. I came to her with a dismissive attitude towards myself and my own emotional well-being, but she was able to help me understand that I deserve love and that my feelings deserve to be heard. She is also incredibly knowledgeable in her field, and I ended up learning quite a bit about psychology just from our conversations about how my mind worked. I ended almost every session feeling inspired and having learned a little bit more about myself. Working with Adina is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking therapy or support during difficult times.

Adina Klein, PhD is by far the best therapist I've ever seen. She is compassionate, insightful,…read moresmart, and relatable. As my 11 year marriage was crumbling, I first tried three other therapists (who weren't a match for me) who were recommended to me personally before I turned to Yelp and found Adina. I sought a therapist who was experienced enough to help me greatly and yet young enough (close to my age, I think) who I could relate to comfortably. Adina was exactly the therapist I needed to find perspective, clarity, and support. I give her the highest possible recommendation.

I have tried many treatments for my general anxiety and gone to many different in person therapists. I finally decided to give Soft Reboot Wellness a try and I am so grateful that I did. Dr Sara Herman made me feel immediately comfortable at her practice and answered any questions that I had. I have been going to her office in Menlo Park for ketamine therapy and recently had a Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) for my anxiety. I had been looking all over the bay area for an integrative medicine practice like this one. Every session for my ketamine therapy was unique and included a post treatment call with her incredible assistant, Shade. From the moment you walk into the center, you feel at ease. I knew exactly what would happen and when which helped me feel comfortable. The first ketamine therapy relieved my ongoing anxiety symptoms for 3 months after my treatment before I returned for another. The deeply personal work done in treatment was supported by Dr Herman's warmth and understanding. I felt so seen and validated by what came up for me during treatment. After about a year, I told Dr Sara Herman that I was still having some panic attacks and anxiety around day to day tasks. That is when she suggested a Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB). She explained what the procedure entailed and Shade gave me a call a week prior to go over what was expected before/after. Once I left Soft Reboot Wellness with my SGB, I felt a huge sense of relief wash over me. I hadn't realized how much my anxiety impacted my every day and every thought. Over the next week, I encountered so many situations that would've triggered a panic attack, but I was able to navigate past them smoothly. I even started to have deeper sleep and felt it easier to work through my daily emotions. I am forever indebted to Soft Reboot Wellness for truly changing the way I move through the world. I am so grateful to have found something that works so well for my mind, body, and soul.

We had tried individual talk therapy without any success. Guide is different in that they focus on teaching and practicing skills so that your child learns how to stay emotionally regulated and manage their depression and anxiety symptoms. There is group therapy, individual therapy, and family sessions to learn and practice skills and build resilience. My daughter particularly liked the CBT and creative sessions. During her time at Guide, my daughter became less withdrawn and more able to engage with our family and her peers. She also really gained tools to stay regulated during conflict. The team at Guide is great. They are very kind and communicative. They worked with her school to make sure she was excused from classes without falling behind. We paid our deductible and co-pay at intake, and they billed our insurance directly. Our insurance covered most of the program cost. It was very easy. Thank you so much to the team at Guide. Your program had a positive and permanent impact on my daughter.

The staff at Guide is welcoming and felt supportive initially, but I agree with other reviewers that, unfortunately, they are not well organized and seemed understaffed. I was told when I called that they have support and space for homework; they don't. We had to ask for the first meeting with the psychiatrist, because nothing was scheduled for the first 2 weeks; even after that, we had to ask for regular meetings to review medication. No family meeting or official updates on the progress. Our son had another crisis, which led to hospitalization, after his therapist, unprofessionally, told him he was diagnosed with schizophrenia (just an "hypothesis" as she clarified to him, but the damage was done already...) On top of all that, they took the money in advance for the out-of-network deductible, and after more than a month, they still haven't filed the claim with the insurance.

She taught me so many tools for dealing with bothering everyday stressor as well as past traumas that I still implement today. I seriously do not know where I would be with out her. Her attention to my needs far surpassed even my own understanding at the time. I actually came on today-- years later to give her a review because I want to get in touch with her and let her know what a huge impact she had on my life... at that time I wasn't capable of thanking her. I heard her voicemail and chose to work with her based on the feeling I got from that greeting. Her office was welcoming and at the time I got to meet her sweet sweet doggo on occasion as well. I just could never seem to be the way those book's suggested. But Lynn's process is not a "5 key steps to improvement," it's a new understanding of yourself completely. A new relationship with yourself. It's a transformative skill. One that needs to be practiced and harnessed but worth the effort. I hope this was helpful!
