We just recently had our 4th grooming session. When I went to pick up our dog, I was told the fee was increased to $65. I wasn't told this before the grooming session but after which I didn't think was right. When I asked why, the groomer told me my dog was not a mini goldendoodle but a standard size poodle. No way he isn't close to a standard size poodle. Was also told that the last time or two he was hard to groom around his head areas but he wouldn't hold still. We will NOT be going back there. If should have been told of the increase and why before the grooming session. The groomers reason for not telling us before was and I quote- "you probably would have walked out if I told you before" Very very unprofessional in my opinion.

The pet overpopulation problem in our country is real, and I have a difficult time patronizing any business that supports its perpetuation.

Scheduled an oatmeal bath only for my lab and specifically stated NO nail trim as his nails were…read moretrimmed by a vet a few days ago. Pick up my dog and there is blood everywhere; my car, driveway, house, and had to take him immediately to the vet who informed us his nail was trimmed so short the wick was exposed and bleeding excessively. On top of cleaning up blood I'm soothing my dog who now has to be on pain medication for a week. The older lady groomer is awful and rude. I should have listened to my neighbors that warned us of this horrible groomer. They admitted his groom was not to include a nail trim as he needs sedation, and his nails were already short. On top of the trauma, my lab has white flakes all over and itching. DO NOT get your dog groomed here!!
