Laura's great insight into how we go sideways reveals our truth to each other. I'm blessed to have a partner who's willing to forgive me when I'm a jack a--, reacting from fear and doubt instead of trust and love. Laura's awareness of how our Enneagram personalities get in our way has helped us get in touch with our souls-- and our souls' desire to connect with each other. It's incredible to think how much we've learned, thanks to Laura's coaching and unwavering support. Five stars aren't enough. I've had very good therapists over the years, but Laura stands out. Clearly she's living her calling, and we are grateful. We highly recommend her.

Dr. Bercot and his staff are incredibly helpful and I am happy to have found them!…read more I appreciate Dr. Bercot's kind bedside manner - he is easy to communicate with. One of my first meetings with Dr. Bercot, he pointed out the positives of the situation I was dealing with - which often times are overlooked and people focus solely on the negatives. I always end our appointments feeling heard and on a positive note. His staff is always reachable via email and phone whenever I've had a question about medication. I cannot recommend Dr. Bercot enough. I too found him a few years ago via Yelp and the rest has been history!

We worked with JT (Jonathan Thrall) for a few months and ultimately decided to find another…read moretherapist at a different practice. JT is incredibly kind and well-intentioned, but the therapy felt one-dimensional. Sessions largely focused on validating feelings without providing structure, tools, challenge, or actionable guidance - all of which I repeatedly asked for. Given that this therapy was priced at the higher end of what we've seen, we expected a much deeper level of engagement and clinical depth. I consistently expressed that I did not feel understood, and that concern never felt meaningfully explored. The turning point came when JT continued asking the same questions and implied that I wasn't going deep enough. When I asked him to take a different approach and ask more thoughtful probing questions, he responded by asking me what I thought he should ask instead. That felt backwards. If he is the trained professional, I don't believe it should be my responsibility to determine how we get deeper in session. He also seemed dismissive of modalities like the Gottman Method and Nonviolent Communication, as well as the self-work I was doing independently. Despite repeatedly asking for homework or guidance between sessions, none was provided. We were looking for stronger direction and more skill-based, structured work, which is why we chose to move on. We're very happy with our new therapist, who also practices EFT but brings a broader, more versatile approach rather than relying on a singular method.
