I had been to the er so many times for abdominal pain. Every single doctor made me seem like I crazy except dr.laney. He ordered every test and he immediately said it was my gall bladder. The test came back fairly normal, when my HIDA scan wasn't terrible. We dedided to remove it, he was correct because when he pulled it out is was so inflamed and had tons of scar tissue. I had surgery just about 12 hours ago. Yes, I'm super sore! But I feel like a rock has been lifted out of my stomach and it is already life changing. Also, dr.laney was so caring and sweet. My entire family loved him and so did I. I was really apprehensive about this, I was literally crying and dr.laney spent time with us before surgery and made me feel better and even after surgery he came to check on me and stayed with my family. I requested before surgery that he didn't use staples and he just used sutures, which I really appreciated. It's been 12 hours since I lost my gallbladder and I feel like a different person, forever grateful for dr.laney. I feel normal again! I am a new person.

First appointment was for less than 10 minutes and were asked to do antibiotics, again. Her GP already tried this before referring out to here. Second visit, again no more than 10 minutes for him to say she needs minor surgery. On the second visit the office hounded me to reschedule calling the Friday before, the morning of and then about noon with her appointment at 345. They booked her visit during "procedure" time. We were told to make appointment for the procedure on the second visit and did for today 2/10. When arriving this morning we were told it was actually for tomorrow 2/11. This is after I called to confirm and got the automated message confirming 2/10. The front desk staff needs training in customer service badly. When leaving the on the second visit I had to tell them about the procedure scheduling. She argued with my daughter this morning that she booked it for 2/11 and that we got it wrong. We are done with this place. Two visits, no results. Nothing more than any walk in clinic could do.

They took urine specimen to send for culture. After ONE week with no response, phone call was placed to the office to find out the specimen was lost. Why didn't someone contact us for another specimen? Gave another specimen, they sent for culture on a Thursday evening. No callbacks as of Monday. Called left a message to be called back with an update- no call back!!! Went in person to the office Monday afternoon- said would call by the end of the day-DIDN'T HAPPEN!!! Tuesday phone calls not returned. Tuesday afternoon another in person visit to the office to hear - we still don't have the results!! This whole time with no sort of prescription to help this lady with Parkinson's and dementia who is also now in extreme discomfort from a bladder infection. Worthless!

I interviewed another top plastic surgeon in the area who didn't give me any of the innovative ideas that Dr. Capizzi recommended for the best outcome possible. These products include the Sientra / 'gummy bear' implants to replace my old silicone ones. These Sientra implants are the safest implants available on the market, and they have a 20-year and up to a lifetime guarantee. They have the least complications of any implant on the market, including for ruptures or capasculsr contraction and other complications. These Sientra implants have a more cohesive gel that does not leak like other typical implants (imagine cutting a gummy bear in half and you have two solid pieces that are still intact- this is what happens with this particular type of gel implant). Dr. Capizzi also inserted a dissolvable mesh support at the bottom of my breast to make sure that the stays in place and also to stops drooping due to gravity / aging, which hopefully, means that this will be my last surgery. I am a 54 years old and this will be my third implant revision and, hopefully, the last one! Although my breasts are still sore and tender and the scars are healing, I already feel much better at day 6 then I felt with the other two surgeries at 2 weeks! I wanted a more full implant at the top with a little bit better cleavage so I chose the 'Bombshell' implant, which is the latest and greatest gummy bear implant available. It's a little fuller than the other available gummy bear implants, but they still feel nice and soft. Dr. Capizzi and his team will go over all of your options with you at your initial visit, with no pressure to go one way or the other, He'll show you pictures on a large screen of different women with various different types of implants, so you'll be able to see not only his past work but make notes of which ones you like and the look that you want to achieve along with him also taking copious notes on what your personal objectives are. Last but not least, Dr. Capizzi was recommended to me not only by multiple friends of mine as their Doctor, but he was also recommended to him by another plastic surgeon when asking for his recommendation for the best Surgeon for breasts. This retired plastic Surgeon from Charlotte said 'if you need your breast done, you need to talk to Dr. Capizzi, he is the absolute best at what he does and if this was for my wife or daughter, that's definitely where Iwould take them'. Another note is that the other plastic surgeon that I talked to, who was also very highly venerated and with over 40 years of experience, did not offer up any of the innovative ideas or products like the gummy bear implants or the dissolvable mesh to support the implant, He also did not offer lymphatic drainage ultrasounds or any other things that Dr. Capizzi automatically includes with his surgeries to flatten out the scars and to give his patients the best results. She was extremely nice and really helped my little one feel comfortable. The day of surgery went well and Dr. Jamsion even called that evening to check on her healing. Keep icing it compress it elevate it and try aromatherapy. I have no history of substance abuse I have not taken narcotics until this surgery. You can look at my history. I know they can. that was the answer I was given. I have no faith in them and I'm absolutely disgusted and their continuity of care. I would never recommend anybody to go here because I'd rather see you suffer and let you be tortured in pain than actually take care of you. If you get a referral to this practice run, find somebody else go back to Columbia, South Carolina and go see Dr. Guy. He is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. I was always interested in having a homebirth since having my own bad experiences in hospitals. After seeing my mom friends have bad birth experiences in hospitals that interest quickly formed determination, I just didn't know how to go about it. Thankfully after posting on a local facebook group I was recommended Karen by name not just by one person but several people. I Always pictured myself finding someone Who was holistically minded whom I could learn from and very quickly when first speaking with her I realized Karen was exactly that. I'm so thankful we picked Karen for our home birth because my labor was not easy it was 30 hours long and I was not exactly the zen primal birther I had hoped to be I was throwing up crying and down right exhausted for the latter half of my birth and thinking omg how am I going to get this baby out who do I think I am?? But Karen was on top of it she coached me through the hardest parts and gave me and my perineum the support we desperately needed! Because of her I had an incredible birth that has empowered me so much through this postpartum period.
