We have had all of our insurance through State Farm for a very long time. We have dealt with Margaret Turner's office for almost 20 years. They are absolutely wonderful to deal with. Today Tina and Deanna helped me with documents needed for a home refinance. Within minutes, I had everything that I needed. Yes, I can find home owners, auto, umbrella policies for less money. However, if I had an issue or a claim, they were there immediately and took care of everything. The peace of mind is well worth the money. read more

I had water damage in my kitchen. I called State Farm and they told me to call a plumber to fix the leak. I did and it cost me $2500.00. Called State Farm back and they told me after I had done all of the work calling the plumber, and carpenters to fix the repairs after the plumbing was done I was told by the Insurance Adjuster, BETH ANDERSON, in a THREATHENING way I still had to pay the the deductible of $2000.00. Are you kidding me? WHY AFTER 20 YEARS PAYING ON A INSURANCE POLICY MONTHLY, THEY STILL GET AWAY WITH THIS? THIS BEHAVIOR IS LIKE THE MAFIA! They take your money but don't do a DAMN thing for you! STATE FARM NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Steer clear of Margaret Turner's auto insurance branch. This is the worse run State Farm that I've encountered in my 15+ years as a customer. They give State Farm a bad name. My wife and I purchased a new Toyota to replace two luxury cars we had. The monthly premium for those two luxury cars was $160 because we had the "Good Driver" discount and the "Multiple Car Discount" For the first few months, our new insurance bill was $80 for our Toyota. Now as of this month, it has ballooned back up to $160. When we called to inquire why, they said they removed both discounts. It puzzled us that our original quote for the Toyota had been haphazardly revised without any prior contact with us. They said the reason the "Good Driver" discount was removed was because we had a speeding ticket in 2011. Incredibly poor underwriting and to me, it reeks of a branch that's hard up for cash and squeezing it out of their customers. Now that I'm at it, I also want to mention when we got rear-ended and filed a claim in 2012, the claim agent was beyond rude and without even asking any questions told us we needed to contact the other person's insurance company. Um, aren't you supposed to handle that? With much haggling, we finally got her to make the moves necessary to get our claim handled. It was a complete pain. State Farm, what happened? You used to be a great insurance company, but the Margaret Turner office left a horrible stain on your track record as far as I'm concerned. I'm taking my business somewhere else. Just wanted to update - called Geico and got car insurance with the same limits for $83/month read more

We have had all of our insurance handled through Margaret Turner's office for the last 10 years. Life, home, auto (originally my wife and I, then our 3 kids as they turned old enough to drive). Over the years, there have been a few accidents and the office has always made the process as little stressful as possible. Haven't always been happy with the handling of items by State Farm, but on those occasions, I've called the office and Yvette or Tina have taken my concerns and made sure that my concerns were taken care of and I felt fully at ease with the outcome. I would recommend this office to anyone who asked and always know that Yvette & Tina are going to always go to bat for me and my family. read more

I first joined State Farm over 40 years ago. Over time, I've found that State Farm is a fine insurance company, but your service depends completely on the agent. Margaret Turner is the WORST agent I have ever had. She and her staff are never helpful, and always expect me to do their job. Unlike my VERY helpful previous agent, (Peggy Ames of Palm Desert, CA), the few times I've actually spoken to Ms. Turner, she could hardly wait to dump me onto someone else, (Oh, I don't know about that -- why don't you call back when [insert name here] is back in the office?) Nope, she couldn't even be bothered to have the agent call me back. I had to make the call. My wife and I have had hassle after hassle with this office. I can't figure out if they're just completely lazy, incompetent, or a combination of both, (I suspect the latter). I recently had a car totaled when another driver ran a red light. Turner's office did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I did all the leg work. I called the collision adjusters. I called to get the payout amount. I made sure the previous car was paid off. Turner's office couldn't even be bothered to get any kind of status info for me, (you'll have to call the adjuster). Seriously???! Today, my wife received what was supposed to be the bill for her car insurance. Although she purchased the car more than two years ago, the bill they sent had MY car -- the one I bought to replace my totaled vehicle -- on her bill. This, even though I received MY bill for this very same car just a couple of days ago. How did they screw up my wife's policy, which has been in effect for over two years? I don't know, but Turner's office sure does! I could go on and on with the hassles I've had, and with the mistakes they've made, (don't even get me started on what happened when I tried to insure my new camera equipment a few years ago!). Let me just say that John W's review has it 100% percent correct. STEER CLEAR of this lazy / incompetent office! read more

Tina Fendrick is amazing! She is extremely responsive, helpful and attentive. I've been a client for 2 decades and couldn't be happier.

My wife and I have been a member with Margaret Turners office for many years and have all of our insurance through them. All of the staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. There is one person who works there that's gives us personal attention and is exceptional at what she does and her name is Yvette. I have been covered by State Farm auto insurance for the past 47 years. Our family has had as high as 7 vehicles insured at any one time. We have experienced theft, and accidents over the years. State Farm has ALWAYS stepped up to bat and taken care of problems immediately. We moved to Temecula 19 years ago, and began our relationship with Margaret Turner's office at that time. Quality service by knowledgable staff has always been the rule. I have had the absolute pleasure of working with most of Margaret's staff members. Phone calls and office visits are always friendly and helpful. Our family highly recommends Margaret Turner's State Farm office for all insurance needs. -The Rasband Family read more

The service was amazing. Instead of trying to sell me the basic cheap insurance that I'd received from GEICO they actually took the time to educate me on what I was buying. They even talked me into the need for life insurance considering I have a young wife at home. All the girls are fantastic and the teamwork is obvious and welcome. Great place to get your insurance. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. read more

First persons review from back in 2013 is accurate to the T. Got this insurance while back was told we would be getting good student discount, multiple car discount and if we got renters wed also have another discount, my bill went up from what they told me the following month apparently good student discount was removed without my knowledge know one notified me, my reserve was already eaten up. Don't bother calling because they never answer and when they do they say they need a day or two and will return your call. read more

I'm a former State Farm client that tried a different carrier about a year ago. I decided to give State Farm another try on Friday, and put in a call to Margaret Turner's office. I worked with Yvette Nares, and after speaking with her, I clearly made the right choice to go back to State Farm for my insurance needs. She not only took the time to handle my needs, but stayed after the 5pm closing time. It spoke volumes! I will be referring everyone I know, to make the switch to their office. Great job Yvette and the State Farm team! read more

This insurance agency is, by far, the worst insurance agency I have ever dealt with. They do not return your calls. They took my money immediately but they didn't write the policy for over 6 months. I called them countless times for a copy of the policy. They blamed the problem on State Farm. That State Farm was extremely backed up. I ended up calling State Farm directly and they told me they were NOT backed up and didn't understand why the agent would say this. State Farm told me I would have to go back to the agency for more questions and clarifications. Finally, the owner called me and told me it had nothing to do with State Farm and that my paperwork had been sitting on agents desk because she didn't know how to fill it out. (So this must mean the agent lied to me) I thought it was finally handled but after many many many more calls to get this all resolved, it still took 3 more months to get the policy. After reading the policy, it doesn't cover what the agent verbally said it covered. We called to get that clarified. They said they would check into it and call us back. That was 2 months ago and we never heard back. So we are done with Margaret Turner's agency and State Farm. Don't waste your time with them as we did. read more
