We have spoken by phone and documented by email with the billing service that these invoices have been paid yet we continue to receive statements. His office manager said she was aware of the issues with the billing service, as was Dr. KUNKEL, but the doctor "does not care". Dr. Greta is wonderful.and I wish she could continue being our dermatologist.

Good Evening. I saw Dr. Bukachevsky on two occasions. I wanted fat removed under my eyes that I had…read moretransferred in from my own fat, and it never went down. At the first visit, he told he would not do the surgery unless I did a peel because I would not be happy with the results. The cost was in the $12k range. A year later I went to him on Client Appreciation Day ( 11/23) and was told the same thing. $12K. I said I would do it. He said I needed to pay him $2k down right then to set up the appointment. Nothing was said about it being nonrefundable. That was on a Friday late afternoon. That night, I came to my senses, and called his office to cancel. I left a message. I called my credit card and put a stop on that charge. On that Monday, I was told the $2k was norefundable. I said I canceled within the hour, and they did not tell me this was a non refundable payment. His wife explained to me it was to go ahead with making the arrangements for the surgery. But, of course, no arrangements had been made. I told them I put a hold on the payment. My credit card sided with the Doctor so his wife said I could get $2k worth of fillers and botox so I agreed. After going through all of this, she said that she felt I wouldn't be happy with the work because I was upset. She offered me $900 and I took it and ran. I was told by many in the medical field to turn him into to the A.M.A. for an unethical behavior. I was so unhappy that I didn't do that. I just lost $1100 for absolutely no service. This is so unethical. Meantime, I saw a local cosmetic surgeon. I signed a quote. It was NOT non refundable. He did the procedure for $3200. No peel necessary. He was fantastic, and did not seem greedy and unethical like Dr. Bukachevsky Please do shop around for a cosmetic surgeon. I find Dr. Bukachevsky greedy and unethical. It is now the end of April, and despite calling multiple separate times, I still have not received anything in writing. The last time we spoke, the pricing had also changed from what was previously discussed, which is exactly why I wanted everything documented in writing. The lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely frustrating, especially when dealing with post-surgical complications. At this point, I would not recommend this office. Instead of addressing concerns directly and professionally, it feels like they would rather avoid dealing with complications altogether.

Extremely unhappy…read more The doc prescribed Efudex (sp?) to remove pre-skin cancers from my face and told me it wouldn't hurt. It hurt like crazy. I cried in misery to the point that my husband insisted that I call the doctor. I called three or four times, indicating I was in great pain, and never once did I get through to the doctor. On one call, I asked if I could take my dog's Tramadol as a pain killer -- same formula as human Tramadol, just no insurance coverage ;). The attendant said she asked Kunkel and then told me I could take it, but when I called back saying that I wasn't comfortable taking someone else's prescription and asked for one for myself, the message I got was that the doc didn't know enough about Tramadol to prescribe it to me, so the answer to my request was no. If he doesn't know enough about it to prescribe it, why in the world would he tell me it was OK to take my dog's prescription??? The last time I called, the attendant told me that I should try taking ibuprofen. Really??? I was in so much pain that I was giving myself a upset stomach because I was taking so much ibuprofen. To get this advice on the third or fourth phone call was just insulting. I was so disgusted with my treatment and inability to reach the doctor that I made an appointment with the doc just so that I could tell him to his face how disappointed I was with the care. At the appointment, he said I should have told the attendant that I wanted to talk with him, which just made me more mad because that was the first thing I did on the first call. Argh! I don't usually post negative reviews but this experience really chapped my hide.
