Top notch emergency vet support. We're traveling and not from the area. Called early in the morning and explained our dog emergency and they were able to see us the same day. Everyone from the front desk, vet tech and veterinary Dr. were all very kind, professional and quick to diagnose and provide solutions. The large waiting room and individual exam rooms were extremely clean and zero pet odor, impressive. Would highly recommend! Thank you!! read more

Sassy, miserable, rude, with a bad attitude. That's what the receptionist is. Probably no excuse, but I'm 78, and my wife is 83. She said, "Who are you here for?" I told her Baby, my cat. Her reply was, "YOUMISSED YOUR APPOINTMENT." I walked in the door at exactly 9:45 am, the time I had written down at my house when I scheduled the visit. By the way, it was only for a rabies shot. In a very sarcastic manner, she said, "Your appointment was for 9:30 am, so you missed it." I showed her my watch, which was precisely 9:45 am. The exact time I thought my appointment was for. I asked her if I could wait a while so the cat could get his shot. Again, she replied, my appointment was for 9:30, so I missed it I maintained my composure and asked her for a manager or the doctor. She huffed and puffed and went to the back. She came right back and said they can't see you, and that the only thing I could do is make a new appointment. I made a new one and left. Now for the best part, I called The Paris Hill Cat Hospital. Jason, the manager ( a great guy) could tell of my frustration. Boom! He said can you be here in 20 minutes. I said I sure could. By the time we got there, he had already gotten Baby's records from Marcy Clinic, and he got his shot. That's the way to do business. read more

I want to sincerely thank everyone at Marcy Vet. Our dog was injured during pheasant hunting and we arrived unexpectedly at 4:15 PM without an appointment. The staff were very professional and efficient--they took pictures, consulted with the doctor, and explained that our dog needed stitches which would be done after a surgery already in progress. By 6 PM, we were on our way home, feeling confident and grateful for the excellent care. Highly recommend Marcy Vet for their compassion and professionalism! read more

Awful place. They scheduled me for a Saturday appointment a while back and when I showed up, they were closed. I called on Monday and they said the changed their hours bur failed to let their customers with already scheduled appointments about it. Also, they charge an exorbitant fee ($55) if you need to reschedule. Stay away from this awful place. read more

that pricing is high that's the nature of the beast there's no insurance unless you pay for it before Something Happens personalities clash wherever you go we get upset when we have to pay for some thing we don't understand. I switched to Marcy vet and they listened they cared. I don't know if they have new doctors there or if things have changed but I can tell you that right now in 2023 they have a compassionate group working there. I do not feel that I have been nickeled and dime and they take care of my dog and help solve the problem that he's had for three years with no one else would listen and the other vet was very passive aggressive and didn't really care to help solve the problem so I am very appreciative of Marcy vet!! read more

I do not recommend this ! They used to be a reputable operation with whom I've entrusted the care of my dog. Unfortunately, they've turned into a money making operation. After several text and postcard reminders, I brought my dog in last week for a check up. He has always been a happy, energetic boy. The staff actually enjoyed him. After getting this vaccine, my dog has not been the same since. He is now lethargic, barely walks, and I have to force him to eat and drink. Upon calling the vet office back and informing them of this, they were very dismissive and said it must've been an underlying condition. There was zero accountability on their part. They had no explanation. I got put on hold several times because nobody could answer the question. They were generous enough to offer to take a look at him again, but of course they would have to charge me to assess the damage THEY caused. They push these vaccines and other injections on you... But they know nothing about the side effects. I understand nothing is a full proof. It was the lack of accountability and the lack of willingness to take a look at my baby boy and see if they can help him since this is a result of the previous visit. They won't see him again without charging me again. They need more education at the very least. Needless to say, I will be reporting them to the state. Bring your pets here at your own risk. read more

We have been going to this vet for a little over a year, since he was a puppy. I called to set up an appointment for my dog to get his annual check-up and vaccinations. We discussed exactly what was going to be done over the phone, or so I thought. My husband brought him into the room, nothing was discussed. They just took my dog into the back and did what I thought we had discussed over the phone. He went out to the desk to pay and the bill was over double the amount it should have been. $380. We weren't even charged that much for his first puppy appointment and usually that's the most expensive bill. They didn't even care to give him the breakdown when he questioned the amount. They just wanted to know if they could charge the card on file. So he paid for the services that we expected to pay for and called me. I immediately called them, they talked in circles, gave me the breakdown of the bill after I asked and then transferred me over to a manager. She said the best she could do was talk to the staff about it. She didn't have a care in the world that "her staff" provided services that weren't consented to by my husband at the office or myself over the phone. Again, just wanted to know when they will be receiving the payment for the balance on the account for the services we didn't consent to. She said she would give me 2 weeks, after that it will go to collections. So I told her we will not be coming there anymore, feel free to deactivate the account. I DO NOT recommend going here seeing as they just add every OPTIONAL service possible to the bill without consent. Absolutely disgusted with the "professionalism" this practice lacks. read more

I feel that a vet should have an abundance of compassion and concern. I didn't get that vibe her at Marcy . For instance my cat simba came down with something or some kind of infection. I called and even went in the next morning to be told that he could not be seen . I tried to express my concern and I was met with the receptionist saying there is nothing we can do we are booked out three weeks . In my opinion that is a complete lack of compassion and a l a lack of concern for the well being of my cat . Thank you for showing me now your true colors , there are to many good caring and loving vets out there that know not to over book themselves so they can still have the one on one relationship between the vet and your pet . You all at that clinic are definitely lacking a lot . read more

This place shouldn't even get One star. Thanks to Dr Marcus I know longer have my dog Jersey. I went for a second opinion to get labs and X-rays on her left leg. She had a torn acl. She was able to put some weight on it until after she was put out to X-ray it. The day she came home she woke up in the morning crying and moaning in so much pain she couldn't even walk anymore. I bcwas told surgery wasn't an option and unfortunately I had to bring her in to have her euthanized, which broke my heart. She couldn't walk so they dragged her by her collar so I took the leash from them and inched my way into the room with her so they wouldn't drag her. On top of that I had to say goodbye to her. I couldn't stay with her in the room because the vet in charge would not allow it. I am disgusted with this place and they shouldn't even be in business. The only good part of the business were the girls in front. They had a lot of compassion. Thank you to April who stood with my dog and pat her head while she was put to sleep. The only thing that makes this a little tolerable for me is that April was there with her when I was not allowed to be and she communicated with me via text. read more

The staff here was very compassionate. We recently had to put our beloved 7 year old dog to sleep. They took the best care of us and our dog Shadow. We received his ashes today and the staff provided us with a beautiful urn and his paw prints as well as cards of condolences. Our family can not thank you enough read more

The Doctors, Vet Techs, and Office Staff are superb, very friendly, and show great care in treating our furry loved ones. Very happy with the open diagnosis and conversations in developing any follow-up treatment plans...including researching new modern ideas. read more
