Before I could, the (young) "manager" called me to tell me that if my over ten year old dog wasn't a client of their clinic they wouldn't board her. You heard that right. I've spent over $1,000 to have my dogs vaccinated, with all fluid panels and tests so waterville could tell me that I'd have to switch to their clinic to board my dogs. WHO DOES THAT????? That is blatantly stealing business from other vets!! That is absurd and unacceptable to me. Cut throat nonsense right there. If you value ethics and business values, you should look elsewhere. Funny thing is, this over ten year old dog???? They had her brother listed on their records. I got both of them together and he passed away in 2020 from Lyme disease. When I got her a new playmate it was covid and waterville wouldn't allow me to add her so I went elsewhere. They are just bad to the bone I'm telling you all.

Turns out they were WRONG and doing more harm than good. She simply needs more fiber in her diet... period. After setting up an autoship with Chewy to get her fiber food years ago, and years of a happy kitty, she was suddenly denied by the clinic during shipping with Chewy... They told us she needs to be seen. . . for FIBER. Not meds, fiber! So basically a month before Christmas, while most people are extremely short on cash, they want to hold my cats fiber food hostage until i put her through the stress of a car ride, and pay an extra visit fee on top of the ALREADY expensive food she needs... stress makes constipation issues WORSE in cats btw. We have 5 cats, 3 were rescued and we reared them up ourselves on a very tight budget. We DO NOT have time or money to play around with a vet for our special needs kitty. We're removing our cats from their clinic and going elsewhere. In the meantime we're finding other means of introducing fiber to her food such as pumpkin.

They sent my dog home on a Thursday with antibiotics for a failing liver. They said the antibiotics would maybe take up to a week to make her feel better, so we waited. They told me they would respond to my texts because they would be closed Fri-Sun. When I texted on Saturday to ask for help because my dog still wasn't eating, they didn't respond for 7.5 hours. And then they were rude in their responses. Sunday morning we took her to an emergency vet and the vet read the SAME exact blood test results that VCA ran and sat us down to tell us that our dog would have low quality of life moving forward and that every day would be a struggle. VCA should have said that and had a direct conversation with me. They could have spared me the two days of watching my dog suffer. When your dog is in their final days, you would hope that the people who are taking care of your dog are compassionate. I think it was 4pm on a Thursday and the vet just did not want to take the time to actually explain what was going on and guide us. Luckily the emergency vet in Syracuse took care of us and was great at her job.

I called Paris Hill Cat Hospital and was told to bring him right in. After a few tests they found that he had bladder stones. They gave me the option of either a strict diet to try to dissolve the stones or surgery, I chose for the surgery as I hated to see my fur baby in distress when trying to go to the bathroom. I can't express enough on the excellent care that was shown to my cat. His doctor called me after his surgery to tell me how he was doing and she even came in the next day on her day off to check up on him and informed me on his progress, I would like to thank everyone again at Paris Hill on the care the showed for my kitty.

We were there first thing in the morning and treated professionally, respectfully and politely. Our first visit there the place was very clean and smelled wonderful. These dogs are not easy to groom and their recommendations as well as procedures were explained so there wasn't any confusion. Approximately 4 hour grooming. When we arrived to pick them up, both boys looked handsome and smelled amazing. They were just laying in safe location watching other dogs get the pampering they just received.
