Words can't express our gratitude to Dr. Rosencrantz and his incredible team! After exploring the web and reading reviews of different doctors in the OC area, we decided to go with Dr. Rosencrantz. We were one of the unexplained cases as we've already undergone tests and done different methods such as taking Letrozole and trying fertility acupuncture, but still no success. After our initial consultation with Dr. Rosencrantz we decided to proceed with the IVF treatment. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Rosencrantz and his team were a beacon of support and expertise. Here's what truly impressed us: Exceptional Knowledge & Care: Dr. Rosencrantz's explained everything thoroughly, answered all our questions patiently, and addressed any anxieties we had. We never felt like just another case; he provided personalized care that made a huge difference. Constant Support: The entire staff at Dr. Rosencrantz's practice was amazing. They were incredibly kind, compassionate, and always available to address our concerns via phone or the app/patient portal. Not to mention there was usually little to no wait time and very accommodating when it came to scheduling appointments. Successful Outcome: And of course, the most important part - we're expecting! Thanks to Dr. Rosencrantz's expertise and guidance, we are finally blessed with the positive pregnancy test that we longed for. If you're considering IVF, look no further than Dr. Rosencrantz. He is, without a doubt, one of the best fertility specialists around. We wouldn't be on this incredible journey without him!

Just to add to this, we are pregnant with our miracle baby all because of Dr. Rosencrantz expertise in this field of infertility. We are blessed enough to have a successful pregnancy after our first transfer. We are 9.5 weeks pregnant with a healthy little babe. I am forever grateful for Dr. R and his kindness and gentleness through this whole process. Laney Collins

This review is long overdue! Let me start by saying Dr. Rosencrantz is one of the best doctors (in…read moreany specialty!) I've ever had! Period. He is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond to listen to patient questions and concerns. I've seen three fertility doctors and he's the only one who I could message directly on the portal. The fertility journey is extremely stressful as anyone who's been through it can tell you, but Dr. Rosencrantz's office made the process so much easier. I never had to wait more than 15 minutes from my appointment time to see him, I got a response to all of my questions within 24-36 hours, and the financial process was easy and straightforward. This was due in large part to his AMAZING team of nurses and staff. Cindy, Anne, and Lorena were always encouraging, warm, and comforting. Everyone knew where I was on my fertility journey, which made the office feel like family. I was able to get pregnant after my first embryo transfer, but unfortunately there were unforeseen abnormalities and we had to terminate at 20 weeks. During this difficult time, even though I was beyond his care (after 8 weeks), Dr. Rosencrantz personally checked on me to make sure I was doing ok. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Rosencrantz for giving me the gift of being able to carry a child even though we were not able to bring our baby home in the end. Wherever you are on your fertility journey, you will be in good hands with the team at RMA/RHWC. I can't recommend them highly enough!

We were referred to Dr. Rosencrantz and subsequently had a telephone appt with a financial coord. We were eager to get started, completed all of the requested testing, and provided records from our outside physicians. During our initial conversation with the financial coord., we explained that our insurance required prior authorization. We had done our research beforehand and knew this would be necessary. Despite communicating this information, the authorization process was not initiated. We did not know this until the first day of my cycle, when we contacted the office to begin our IUI. Because the authorization had not been submitted, we had to wait to begin IUI. The financial coord. had 3-4 weeks to obtain the authorization, and failed to do so until I called on the first day my of cycle. We ultimately completed 3 IUIs. Our experience with Rosencrantz himself was positive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the office staff and administrative process. There was very little proactive communication throughout the process. Everything was self-directed. If we wanted to proceed with another IUI or discuss moving on to IVF, we had to initiate the contact ourselves. Even after our first IUI, to begin the 2nd, I was told that I could not proceed because either a required test had not been completed or the needed some type of records a certain way. Regardless, the larger issue was the lack of communication and coordination. I was consistently trying to stay ahead of everything the office needed so that there would not be delays when my cycle began, yet there seemed to be something new that prevented us from moving forward each time. In July, our insurance benefits changed and IVF became a covered benefit. We made an appt with Rosencrantz in August and shortly afterward made an appointment with the financial coord. This was a different financial coord. from the one we had previously worked with. I had also previously tried contacting the original financial coord. through the patient portal with questions and often did not receive a response. If my husband called and left a message for the financial coord., he would not get a call back. It got to the point of contacting the nursing staff to get answers. During our appt with Dr. Rosencrantz, we discussed our desire to begin IVF as soon as possible. He instructed us to communicate this to the financial coord. That conversation initially seemed to go well, and again, I specifically explained that our insurance required prior authorization. Because of what had happened with our IUI experience, I was very proactive about monitoring the authorization process myself. Despite this, the IVF prior authorization was not submitted until the end of August. We later discovered that prior authorization was also required for certain medications, and those authorizations were not submitted until September. At one point, I called the office to speak with a financial coord., and the person who answered the phone would not provide her name. I was also told that my insurance did not cover IVF, despite the fact that we had confirmed that IVF was a covered benefit under our new insurance plan. This was incredibly frustrating and concerning. We initially expressed our desire to begin IVF in August. It is now October, and we are still not close to starting. The medication authorization expires in November, and there has also been a lack of follow-through regarding authorization for one of the medications, Omnitrope. My insurance covers it, however the clinic failed to respond within 5 days. Therefore, my insurance canceled the authorization and the medication would cost me to pay 700-900, even though this is covered, because RMA failed to do their job. At this point, we have gone through three different financial coordinators, and we are now more than two months past our initial IVF financial consultation. Despite our efforts to stay on top of the process and repeatedly communicate what was needed, we still have not been able to move forward with IVF. Our biggest issue is not one isolated mistake. It is the repeated pattern of having to chase the office for information, discovering that necessary steps had not been completed, receiving conflicting information, and having treatment delayed as a result. This office is extremely disorganized when it comes to insurance coordination and communication. If you are considering treatment here and your insurance is involved, I strongly recommend doing your own research, confirming your benefits directly with your insurance company, and closely monitoring every authorization yourself. Do not assume that something has been submitted simply because you were told it would be handled. Ultimately, after the repeated delays and frustration, we have decided to leave RMA. The experience has unfortunately made that impossible for us.

Just as incredible is his entire staff is kind, supportive, responsive, and made us feel cared for every step of the way. We could not have done this without them, and we will be forever grateful. After 5 years of trying to get pregnant, multiple doctors, 2 egg retrievals, and 4 failed transfers, I came to Dr. Bryan Acacio with unexplained infertility and very little hope. From our first consult, Dr. Acacio truly listened. I suspected endometriosis, which previous doctors dismissed, but he insisted on surgery and found stage 2 endo. He also ran an autoimmune panel that revealed genetic variations affecting implantation testing my prior doctors never pursued. He immediately recommended PGT testing, which finally gave us answers. He also listened to my concerns about timing during retrieval. This time, we waited one extra day--and the results were life-changing: 11 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 7 blasts, and 5 genetically normal embryos. In November, we transferred two embryos. After the longest 11 days of my life, I got the call I was pregnant. Two weeks later, we learned both embryos had implanted. To the future parents: there's a light a the end of this journey. I was referred by a friend and contacted the office to inquire about scheduling. Rather than advising me of the upcoming closure, the staff took down my information and told me I would be contacted in January when their schedule "opens up." This was misleading and unprofessional. If an office knows it is shutting down, that information should be communicated transparently during the initial call. Instead, I was given false expectations and wasted time based on information that was not accurate. I find this type of business practice concerning. If something as basic as an office closure is not communicated honestly, it raises questions about what else may not be handled with transparency. I would not recommend this office.

Dr. Ghazal and…read morethe whole staff really made me feel comfortable and confident that I was getting the very best treatment possible. Not only is the office BEAUTIFUL, but the girls who work there are so warm and inviting. You can't walk by anyone without them saying 'hi' or asking how you're doing. I had been to other fertility specialists before and am so happy that I chose to go with Dr. Ghazal! She is up to date with the latest technology and treatment options and was able to guide us through this complicated and difficult process. If you don't understand something she takes the time to explain (and for me, re explain.) the process, even if it's not during normal business hours. She's so sweet delivering the good (and the bad) news, which is so comforting.. some doctors may look at you as a number or just a chart, but you can tell Dr Ghazal is just as invested in the outcome as you are. Thank you Dr Ghazal, Molly, Heidi, Krystal, and Maggie for helping us through this time! I am now pregnant with a beautiful baby boy and am due this December! We are so happy and look forward to continuing to grow our family with Dr. Ghazal in the future! (Best 'I told you so' ever!!)

After 3 failed cycles, my husband and I decided to change fertility clinics and received a…read morerecommendation to check out RISE. Needless to say, it was one of the best decisions we have ever made! During our initial consultation with Dr. Ghazal, we could tell that her approach was very different than most fertility doctors. We had two embryos remaining from my retrieval at my prior clinic, and wanted to transfer one of those embryos. During a consultation with another clinic, we were told by the doctor that he "would never use" the remaining embryos due to their grading. Dr. Ghazal disagreed with that approach. When we asked what medicine regimen Dr. Ghazal would use, she advised us that she needed to invest time reviewing my medical records to come up with a personalized recommendation. She would not utilize a cookie-cutter "one size fits all" approach like most fertility doctors seem to do. Dr. Ghazal then prepared a detailed plan to use an "modified natural cycle," which involved less medication than I had to take during my failed cycles. That plan also required more doctor visits to monitor my ovulation cycle. Dr. Ghazal was very dedicated to our cause that she opened the office for appointments on weekends and offered to schedule my FET on Thanksgiving if necessary. She was also was able to identify a medical condition that very likely caused my prior failed cycles and easily fixed the issue. Dr. Ghazal is someone whose brain seems to operate on a wholly different wavelength. She is knowledgeable while remaining humble, able to listen to her patients' needs, very empathetic to our concerns, and cheered us on throughout the cycle. Needless to say, her bedside manner is top-notch. Beyond the doctor, the staff at RISE is the best we have encountered in any medical practice. I was fortunate to work with Laura (RN). Laura has extensive medical training and was well equipped in answering my questions. By contrast, the coordinators at my previous clinic seemed to have little training, and merely acted as messengers for the doctors. Laura was also extremely responsive to my emails and phone calls (even at odd hours or on weekends) and was also personable at appointments. Crucially, Laura was also helpful in assisting us with transporting our embryos from my prior clinic to RISE. The RISE team (Allie, Angie, Heidi, Krystal, and Molly) were exceptional to work with! They genuinely became family throughout the process. A little less than a year after our initial consultation with Dr. Ghazal, I gave birth to our second child! As she lays in my arms, all I can think is how grateful I am that we chose to transfer our little "embryo that could" with Dr. Ghazal!
