Service was awesome. Fish & chips very good However, since cannot do Cole slaw they told me on phone I could sub a side Caesar or garden salad. I dislike spring mix so chose Caesar salad. Unfortunately, they make their Caesar with spring mix instead of fully known romaine. Disappointed! They also said they had 2 non alcoholic beers -a hoppy one and not. A tiny bit disappointed since we drove up from the college area near SDSU to get this pizza. Granted, it was free with a code from Verizon, but we were expecting a little more to hook us and keep us coming. Something a little more to say, 'it's worth the drive.' My sister raved about this spot and said we needed to try it so it was pretty cool this offer popped up. We got a two 1-topping pizzas and feel the pepperonis were very minimal. It was kind of like a cheese pizza with a sprinkle of pepperoni. I saw the picture on the window advertising a 1-topping pizza and it was smothered in pepperoni so I'm not sure what pizza that was. Maybe we should've added more toppings? Not sure. I think the young lady who was making pizza had a cut on her finger so I hope it was taken care of before making our pizza :( Thank you to the gentleman who rang us up - sorry we were a pain and decided to eat there when originally setting it for pick up (ravenous toddler, iykyk). I drive from Palm Springs to San Diego very often for work. I heard good things about Marco's Pizza so I wanted to try it out. I asked for a pizza with white sauce and cut into squares. I got a pizza that did not have white sauce and was cut regular. Unfortunately I did not check it until I was already home in Palm Springs. So I was very disappointed, because it's not like I could just drive back there easily. The only reason that this is a two-star instead of a one-stars because the pizza was actually really good. But it was not what I ordered. I hope that they actually look at the instructions for the pizzas in the future. I will give them one more try. Been going to Marco's Pizza on Duenda Road in RB for years and still enjoy their pizzas. This time I ordered cauliflower crust chicken pizza with white sauce and it was surprisingly good. The size option available was the small personal size, but plenty for 1-2 servings. My husband had the pepperoni with red sauce on regular crust and he liked it very much. We do group orders from here for work every few weeks, and I'm always excited when it's on the menu. The food is consistently delicious and fresh, and for a casual pizza joint, the cheese pizza is flavorful and far beyond what you'd expect out of average cheese pizza. The subs are also great. My favorite is the Italiano sub, which is warmed just perfectly to get the cheese melty on the meat without making the bread too crunchy or the vegetables soggy. The steak sub is another favorite of my coworkers. I also appreciate how well the food holds up after the whole delivery process, as that can be hard to find! I originally gave a positive review for Marko's, but my opinion has changed. On my last order, I received an undercooked pizza with the wrong toppings. The manager was not apologetic, but did try to convince me that I don't know pizza. Ok. I returned to the store with the pizza and asked for a full credit towards my next purchase. I didnt even want a refund, since I would have liked to eat there in the future, but the owner refused the credit, so I left the pizza there and went home with nothing but the understanding that I will not eat there again. I will no longer recommend to friends or workplace when we need pizzas. They did offer to remake the pizza, but I do not like accepting food after any form of disagreement. Large meatball mushroom pie felt pretty substantial in the box, which gave me a good feeling of value. Quality-wise, I'd say it's my new favorite chain pizza. Our family's new favorite pizza spot! Our go-to is the Pepperoni Magnifico. The old-world pepperoni's are the best! Aside from that, though, their seasoning is on point. They are not too heavy-handed in a way that makes the pizza salty. Their pizza sauce tastes richer and not as sour as other pizza chains. Their crust is still soft, but also crispy, and the balance of cheese-sauce-dough is just perfect. The toppings are vast and the size is large. The size is enough for 2 adults. The staff here is very friendly providing fast service at a business restaurant. I visited around 5 pm on a Friday. Tonight the manager refused to honor $9.99 large Pepperoni Magnífico (reg $23) that was advertised on the app and also online. My friend's son was given a cup for water & refilled his water with Raspberry Ice Tea by accident - we were then told by "Ed" the owner that " you need to teach and raise your kid better, that cup is for water only. Tip it out & get water . And of course we will pay for it . Now as a former business owner - sometimes " goodwill to customers" can go a LONG way - repeat business , referrals to friends etc.....in short MORE CUSTOMERS FOR ED!!! Unfortunately ....our experience from the business owner was not only extremely disappointing, but also just confronting & rude! I tried to explain that we have 2 children on the Autism spectrum - he did not care . He raised his voice at my friend ( a woman) , so of course I raised my voice. I placed an order for pizza to be delivered at noon, specifically timed for my students' lunch break. They were having "lunch with the teacher". The pizza arrived 20 minutes late, and when I called Marco's, the person on the phone blamed DoorDash for the delay, offering no assistance. I paid a $5.99 delivery fee and a $4 tip, but was not informed about what the delivery fee covered, especially since the pizza was late. We stopped in for lunch today and got two meatball and one Italiano sandwich. The first thing we noticed was how spotlessly clean and organized the store was. The counter assistant and owner were very friendly. We only waited about seven minutes for the food to arrive and were very impressed with how much meat was on the sandwiches. The meatballs were stuffed into fantastic bread toasted just right. The meat and mozzarella were really delicious - honestly one of the best meatball sandwiches we've ever had.
