On Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 6:35 PM, I placed an order for 2 small pizzas and received notice that they should be delivered at 7:05. I was notified at 7:42 that the pizza was baking!!! At 7:55, I tried to call the store to cancel the order and no one would answer the phone. At 8:13 I was notified that the pizza was on the way (over an hour late). The pizza arrived at 9:13 PM (I live 15 minutes away) and was cold and over cooked. I will never order from there again! If you order, please don't do it on a weekend! Service every time is with a little attitude. I ordered on their site. It went to uber. They said I put in contactless service. I did not. Pizza was left on doorstep. No text. No knock. Ants covered the pizza. Phoned and I was told not to be upset. I had ordered it through uber and that I would have to phone them. They don't guarantee. Somewhat understand. Tried to place order for sandwich on line, but got pop-up that delivery was closing. I had already put on credit card info, but it worried me that my credit info was floating around and anyone could get to it, so I called the store and was told that the order had not gone through, so then I had to reorder the entire thing, and was told it would be about 30-45 minutes. Marcos is one of the best pizza franchises we've ever tried. For gluten free pizza it's as good as it gets. You really can't even tell it's gluten free it's that good. Did love the pizza before...the driver added a tip on my receipt without my knowledge. He was given a cash tip. A few days later when looking through my bank statement I noticed a larger amount than authorized. I called Marcos pizza and after much excuse making...some crap about the driver thinking he needed to record the cash tip on the receipt...the manager told me he would give me a credit on the account. Marco's Pizza opened up last year and is pretty good. The price at Marco's is in line with the other pizza places in local Teays Valley. It has a unique taste and a great website to order from. The website ordering tells you when an order is finished! The only strange thing is their printed out menus do not show Salami as a topping despite it being a topping. They have crust toppers and sauces like Pizza Hut. Their old world pepperoni and salami are nice and crispy. They have a lot of variety like Pizza Hut. Marco's may be the most Italian like of all the Pizza places in the Teays Valley and Hurricane area. Another thing they have over other pizza places is opening at 10:30 am.
