The general manager ambushed me when I went in to pick up my online order. SHE told me I never paid full price for anything and always complained. Very hateful, arrogant and disrespectful and dismissive. I purchased 3 $20 gift cards for 1/2 price through Shoals Now. She doesn't want to honor these. Even though they participated. I have complained about their cheesy bread. You can't see ot taste any cheese other than parmesan. Today i ordered double cheese. No difference. Its false advertisement when you look at the pictures on line. My order came to $20.49. She tells me she can't let me have it at that price, even though its plainly shown as my total. My $20 gift card(which I paid $10 for) and then .49 should have been what i paid. She told me it would be $4.91, for taxes. Our tax is 9.5%. Who knows what she did. She didn't give me that receipt. I had a free cheesy bread and 25% off directly from Marcos online. She didn't like that either. When my online order shows an amount, that's what i should pay. I really like the food however when a DoorDash order went wrong (driver left food by front door and neighbors dog thought it was Christmas) the store told me there was nothing they could do. I asked for a manager, got connected to a shift leader, asked for a manager again, got connected to an assistant manager - all I wanted was a remake and I'd come pick it up and bring pictures and a trash bag of the first order. Nope, I was rejected, so I said ok I'll just leave a negative Yelp and Google review so here we go. I've got three more people here who will all leave one stars as well, pretty lame the store can't stand behind their delivery service - so enjoy the low rating geniuses! read more

A friend talked me out of going to Papa John's for this place. The pizza was cheaper than Papa John's and Pizza Hut. The Yelp rating was significantly higher than both. The pizza was big and beautiful. I added a %15 tip and got a larger pizza and it was still cheaper than the other places without tips. Unfortunately, the cheese tasted weird and it's just personal preference but I prefer strips of ham to larger slices of ham. With the exception of the ham, there weren't enough toppings. The garlic butter was more buttery and less garlicy than other places. So far this is a three star review, a mediocre rating for a mediocre pizza. And, the service I received directly was perfectly fine. But what I witnessed next to the kid serving me would bring an otherwise five star review to a one. He was the manager, a big round bearded man (just for identification purposes, because I didn't get his name). He was fidgeting with stuff around his computer and complaining about how disorganized it was. (It looked fine.) The comments initially seemed to be directed towards the kid helping me. He then started complaining to the customer in front of him, not blaming him, but as if he wanted to hear it. I handed the kid my card and then he handed me the card reader. When we were done the kid stepped away, and the manager grabbed the card reader from in front of me and, with a huff, slammed it back down next to the computer. And a separate observation is that there were too many cooks in the kitchen. The look on the kids face told me that this is what this man is and the kid seemed worn down by it. It always fascinates me that people like this manager don't bother to take negativity and passive aggressive abuse to the back so that, at least, we don't have to see it. But, I guess irrational behavior is irrationally placed. And at least we do see it so someone knows it's happening. And this sort of employee treatment in intolerable. If upper management is reading this, fire the a-hole and I may give your pizza another chance. Or, at the very least, give the kid, and everyone else working under the a-hole, a raise. Be warned if you do contactless delivery they will put it on the ground even though there is a table or chair less than a foot away. You may or may not be notified that the delivery is on the way due to there system. Pizza was cold and rubbish when it arrived. read more

Ordered to go pizza 5 minutes from our hotel and the delivery window said " estimated delivery 41 minutes ". 50 minutes later we call and ask if our pizza was out for delivery and they said they were short on drivers and our pizza was sitting on the warming shelf. We asked if it was leaving anytime soon and they said probably not. I asked if they would remake it if I come to pick it up and it's cold. I got a bunch of yada yada yada instead to include a few bucks off a future order. I didn't want any money I wanted the hot food I ordered. I was like I am in a hotel so a future order probably won't work out but I'd like a hot pizza. I pressed the manager on why we don't use technology to reach out to customers ( I delivered pizzas for Domino's when I was a young soldier 25 years ago ) and explain the situation that your drivers bailed on you or turn off deliveries for the night. I go inside the place and I see 5 employees doing mostly nothing and the manager was making a pizza. I thought to myself if I was the manager a few of these workers would of been out delivering pizza !!!!! I guess problem solving is a thing of the past.... I ate my luke warm pizza while typing out this novella... If you use this place just pick it up yourself because it seems there are no controls or procedures on how to deliver a pizza 1.6 miles away if needed... This is just about the best pizza I've ever had. There is plenty of space in the inside of the store, very friendly staff members. It's not a long wait and everything is very clean. We decided to dine in instead of pickup or delivery. Several booths and tables inside to eat at. The entire place was very clean and well kept. I noticed the 97 health score rating which is really good. I give this place 3 stars for now because we waited 30+ minutes on food and was told it would take only 12 minutes. We finally kindly asked about our food and found out it was sitting in to go boxes on a food holding shelf in kitchen. The couple sittin behind us had the same problem. I think they are just really focused on to go orders. Lots of loud noises in restaurant such as phone ringing, pick up window bell, and some strange computer beeping noise. We ordered a pizza, hot wings, and desert and all were really good. I will definitely be back for pick up or delivery and not dine in. read more

This is our first time eating here, I'm not sure how long the place has been open. We ordered the deluxe pizza extra large with the Family chef salad and for dessert we ordered the triple chocolate brownie and it feeds up to four people! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the salad was fresh, the cheesy bread and the pizza was absolutely delicious! We have decided since there is no longer a hunts Brothers pizza close by , we will definitely come here from now on. You most definitely get what you pay for here. read more

Great pizza and they deliver to a larger area than Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut is only about 3-miles from my house but they stop their delivery area about a quarter of a mile from me. Marco's Pizza is 7-8 miles from me and they DELIVER!!! The pizza is fresh, toppings are abundant, and the staff are all friendly. SUMMARY: PIZZA HUT's failures are great advertisements for MARCO'S PIZZA! But Marco's Pizza flavors are THE BEST advertisements! I called today, August 29, 2021 at approximately 12:30 p.m. A woman answered the phone and immediately placed me on hold for "one second." She proceeded to do this four more times each time being on hold for 3.5 minutes. I could not get her to listen when she answered when I tried to tell her how long I had been on hold. Years ago we had a place in Florence called Stephanie's pizza they have been closed for 10 years or more and then we tried Marco's and we will be getting pizza here from now on. Pizza hut is greasy, domino's is nasty, and little Ceasars taste like a store bought frozen pizza. Get the xl meat on original crust with the garlic butter on the crust. Very disappointed in this location. Ordered online, waited over an hour for delivery. Called to check on order and they said they stopped taking delivery orders. They made no attempt to call us after we ordered online to notify us that they had no drivers to send out our delivery. Decided we would do carry out, it's now after 19pm.
