Horrendously bad pizza... the crust was the only good part. The sauce was too sweet and slimy and the pepperoni felt fake and pre-made. And the cheese looked fake service was great and quick but the place looked dirty and they're renovating. The service was painfully slow--I waited nearly an hour for my order, only to receive a cold, poorly made pizza. The toppings were sparse, the crust was dry, and it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. To make things worse, the staff seemed completely uninterested in providing good customer service. When I brought up the issue, they were dismissive and made no effort to fix the situation. With so many great pizza places out there, I won't be giving Marco's another chance. We were fine with that and left our Venice house to go get the pizza for a game night with some friends who live in Englewood. Upon arrival, one of the doors we locked but had a message to go to the other door. I did and sure enough our pizza was ready. We had already paid and so it only took about 30 seconds to grab and go. We were searching for a decent place to get takeout pizza and felt like trying something different than our usual, Dominos. We tried their speciality pepperoni and a traditional Hawaiian. The pepperoni pizza came with crunchy, spicy pepperonis (old world) and it was very tasty. Prices were very competitive and comparable to Dominos, especially when taking advantage of their special online deals and coupons. I would say that Marcos was more flavorful and tasted of higher quality than Dominos. We also liked that you could flavor your crust with a couple different flavors. They'd indicated only a 15 min wait time, which I was pleased to hear however, after eating their 'Pepperoni Melt' wondering if, it'd already been previously made (& cooked) and simply run back through the pizza oven; that's what it tasted like and would explain the over-baked look, taste & texture.
