I ordered a large double old world pepperoni with Parmesan and garlic butter on the crust. I was told it would take about 40 minutes to be delivered, I said okay. After over an hour had passed I called to see where my pizza was and they said the driver was on the way, I said okay. After about 90 minutes the pizza finally showed up, I tipped the driver and went upstairs to eat. I opened the box and realized that everything was incorrect. It was only single topping pepperoni and barely that. There was maybe 10 small pieces of Old World pepperoni on the entire pizza. The toppings were about 3 in from the crust. The crust did not have the parmesan and garlic butter that I ordered. It was also stone cold and looked like it had been sitting in the refrigerator. I called the manager for a refund and he said he was not able to do so anymore because they took away the managers ability to issue refunds. I said that was crappy that they do that to them and he agreed and said he was looking for a new job. He said he would have to contact the general manager for me to get a refund and he did so. The general manager denied the refund. This place hasn't just gone downhill, it has fallen all the way to the bottom. Do not waste your money! read more

Well. I screwed up and didn't order the right thing. Don't like a lot of veggies on my pizza. So after picking all the "extras" off my pizza I was able to eat it. I was apprehensive as all the veggies cooking on it changes the flavor. WOW!! that was prolly one of the best pizzas I've had an a very long time. I did call and explain my ordering mess up and they did get a little defensive so I chose not to press the issue. I tried or ding online but the system didn't recognize the address. So confusion on my part and misunderstanding on their part. No biggie though. That pizza and cheese sticks are amazing!!!! So don't let my screw up change your mind from ordering. I tried the new Philly Steak pizza bowl I saw advertised on TV. It looked good when I opened the box, just not piled up as high as other pizza bowls Marco's makes. When it was delivered it was piping hot, but as it began to cool the white cheese sauce on the bottom thickened up. The cheese sauce is basically white Cheese Wiz and pretty salty and hardens when cooling. So I microwaved the bowl to warm it all back up good. I did that actually twice by the time I was done with it. The thinly sliced steak was tender along with green peppers and onions. Just the cheese sauce was the downside of the meal. I will just stick with the deluxe pizza bowls from now on I guess. read more

First of all let me start out by saying that I love Marco's Pizza. (The pizza). I've generally had very good service everytime I've gone. Today was my first visit to the Davenport Marco's and I was not impressed. First, when I walked into the store it took a good 5 minutes before any of the 6 employees could find their way to the counter to hand me my pizza order that had been sitting under the warmer before my eyes. Then when I was handed the pizza I opened it up and what I got was what I'll call the slider (see picture) many of the toppings were slid to one side or towards the center of the pizza. The kid at the counter was nice enough and he asked me what I wanted to do. I asked how long it would take to fix it and he said it would be a while. That was my cue to cut my losses and just leave with the disappointment in hand. So, with the plentiful pizza options in Davenport I think this will be my only visit to the local Marco's. And for the safety of your employees please at least try to social distance. Lot's of people in a small space there. read more

Update your website and online ordering! I was stoked to try the new cauliflower pizza crust so I placed an online order and selected 3 p.m. as my delivery time. When 45 minutes passed without my food, I called and was informed they don't open until 4 p.m. The website says they open at 11 a.m., and I assume they offer delivery at 3 p.m. based on workers' schedules. No email, no phone call, no text message to tell me they don't open until 4 p.m. So when I called around 3:45, I was told it would be 20-25 minutes to get my order. Pizza delivered at 5 p.m.! I'll get my cauliflower crust from Your Pie and will not be ordering anything from Marco's again. I had been receiving Marco's advertisements and finally decided to try them after discovering that their delivery area was huge, especially compared to other pizza places. For those not familiar with this chain, they offer Italian style crust as opposed to Chicago or midwest types so expect a difference. It is a delicious difference served with less sauce and loaded with toppings and cheese! When you order extras, it is obvious that you actually get them. I love there italian meats pizza with extra cheese...even beats Harris and Happy Joe's. And then there are their totally fresh crispy salads which do not skimp on toppings..you get so much more than lettuce greens as opposed to other places where you get limp prepackaged salads with slimy chicken and stale nuts. First time ordering from Marco's. My husband and I were very impressed. Fresh ingredients, mozzarella that tastes like real mozzarella. We ordered a thin crust Deluxe Uno with garlic on the crust, Which is free. The service was very good. Nice young man who helped us was great and made sure everything was there and looked good. I came back in to have my customer appreciation punched and watched him as he was making a pizza, very detailed. Do impressed with that. Everyone there behind the counter was doing their job very well. A bonus was that you received a free movie with a $10 or more purchase. Not to shabby. We like Harris, but this is close to our house, so we thought we would give them a try. We had the large thin crust sausage. The pie was very good. Harris has the meat all over the pie, this place places clumps of sausage so almost every piece has a clump of meat on said slice. We have also ordered salads there which are the size to feed an army. Very nice clean place with an outstanding product. read more

Marco's Pizza is a new adventure for Family Video. they are trying the concept of providing pizza and a movie for your entertainment needs.Right now they have a special of buy a large pizza and get a 5 night movie rental for free. New releases are only for one night. Marco's currently has a grand opening special running right now, buy a large 2 topping pizza for $9.99 plus tax. Cathy and I tried their Hawaiian Chicken pizza, a specialty pizza that has chicken, ham, bacon, pineapple, and extra cheese on it. It was very good!! Won't be ordering from Davenport Iowa Location. Marco's Pizza has Family Video give out coupons if you spend so much on renting videos but then only want to honor those coupons in store when I was already at home watching movies with my kids. I rented the movies at 2pm and wasn't planning on ordering till 5pm (dinner time). Dont get a coupon from Family Video for Marco's Pizza and think you can get it delivered is my advice. I ordered Papa John's instead because when i was telling the women on the phone that i would give them the reciept with the stamp on it from family video when they deliver it as proof it wasn't good enough and the women was rude while informing me they don't do that. read more

I stopped at the Davenport store and I bought a large 2-topping sausage and mushroom I got it home and I took my first bite and I could tell right from there it was good quality cheese and tastes way better than Papa Johns dominos even Pizza Hut and I never thought about Marcos before the other day it cost a little more but if you like good food then it's definitely worth the difference in price read more

Well I ordered pizza for husband and co workers and asked for them to deliver at 7.45 and of course they deliver it at 7.30 which means it has to sit for additional 15 minutes and get cold . so I called and asked them why and my reply from manager is I don't know what to tell u we have other deliveries ,and I should of ordered later . Great pizza and salad! We were staying at the Baymont Inn and had our food delivered. Pizza came hot and salad was cool and crisp. The chicken fresco pizza flavor was great; would have liked a little more chicken on it though. Loved the regular crust; not too thick and not thin either.
