One thing he made sure over these years is that he can only take you as far as you allow. Meaning he does not overstep unless you want and ask for help. As he mentioned in the comment below, he's not there to fix you, he's only providing you with help so you can heal yourself. And I'm so glad he's that way. I'm glad he doesn't wanna fix you, but instead shows you how powerful you can be if you allow yourself to be. I'm glad he's not for everyone. Especially the one who chooses fear. Because then you know - it was you and you only who chose Love and allowed healing to happen.

He introduced himself in the beginning, why he chose this path to help people, also he was asking me different questions before he started to work with my energy. And I think it's important part of the process as I want to know a person who is going to heal me on spiritual, body and mind level. The only issue was a price. Yelp states that the price for session is 120$, I also checked website and there were no price information. So I was expecting the price I found on Yelp but 120$ was actually per hour(no time limit was mentioned). Our session was about 2,5 hours. I would recommend to update the price information to make it more clear and avoid confusing situations in the future.

Just warm enough to get the sweat started. There are lockers and showers available to clean up after your workout. You can bring your own mat or rent one. Sign up was easy and not too crowded. The instructor was fabulous and had a great message/ intention for our session.

Teachers come and go, as is the nature of the business. Thankfully, I look forward to a few constants: Nicole's brilliant sound baths, Chloe's evocative, primal Saturday am power flows, Alicia's "happy Monday, now let's get this party started" 6:15am thoughtfully curated flows (BEST way to start the work week), newcomer Suki's entrancing Sunday meditations, Teigh's loving Reiki offering, and Sarah Lakey's (who is EVERYTHING good in anatomy and movement progression) slow flow. This is my love letter to a place where, as soon as I settle in/ onto my mat, I feel like I'm home. The community is icing: I hope you come experience for yourself. There's a great 30 day all- you- can -practice offering. Hope to see you on the mat!

The center that Kat has built is professional but very personal and warm. It invites quiet, open, discussion and revelation. The practice benefits from the environment of the building and the neighborhood. Kat's guidance and wisdom and her quiet calm approach, benefitting both mind and body, is the reason that I am writing. Kat has the life experience to understand and help uncover layers of the daily struggle we all encounter, the depth to understand and guide through personal and family of origin explorations, personal history, and the breadth to help individuals, couples, and families. She does not judge, she guides, sometimes simply listening, often reflecting. Her repertoire includes deep personal investigation and teaching experience in yoga, meditation and mindfulness, and spiritual exploration as well as traditional counseling and therapy. Kat is incredibly knowledgeable about the standard experts in psychology and therapy wile also offering a broad approach and the ability to reach for the seasoned experiences of meditative and spiritual masters. The Four Aims Center is a unique environment to unfold personal questions and explorations in a peaceful and trusting setting. If you are exploring yourself and your life and looking for guidance I highly recommend you have a conversation with Kat Allen.

My life seemed to be slipping off at that - my marriage, my sanity, almost everything. I had been on anxiety medicines again since last 3 years and seeing a therapist who had sown the seed of meditation in my mind when I started reading books about it and practicing with cell phone apps. Once I started my sessions with Neeru and practiced diligently I started seeing changes surprisingly very quickly. Neeru is great teacher who provides the complete context of all your questions and talks you through the things on your mind and how to focus on getting rid of them via meditation. My presence of mind was getting better and the biggest change was my heart palpitations completely stopped within 4 months. The course was for 6 weeks but I continue to meditate and can't thank Neeru enough for helping me get where I am today. I would seriously suggest anyone to try this out and as I feel this would be the best investment you'll make for yourself ever.

Over the six weeks I made many surprising discoveries, not only about how my mind is affecting my everyday approach to stress, but also how my past has impacted my view of self. She left me with a goal of total self love which will benefit me and also the world around me. In my case at least this course was much more than simply learning to meditate. It will impact my approach to life and feelings about the mind going forward.
