I have been using Hazel since the beginning of the year. The next day I had a few people at work say how nice my hair looked! OK, so people tend to notice when you've had a haircut, but I really felt like it was a completely different cut to my previous hairdresser (who maybe had just got stale). I only started to notice when I was doing yoga and watched (in the mirror) at the way my hair fell so I could see the layers and structure to it. Since then, I've continued to be really pleased with the results.
She's given me lots of suggestions on if I decide to colour may hair again, and has been equally happy to let me grow out my grey without pressuring me.
The salon is on a great spot on William Street (2 minutes from West End tram stop), and she always serves a great cup of coffee.
Hazel is hoping to expand the salon into the front part of the shop as well, which will be brilliant as it sits neatly amongst a jeweller, a beauty salon and a make-up school.
On a personal level I really like Hazel. She has a great memory and always asks for updates on what we've talked about the previous visit. Really keenly priced, as well. I've just got my husband to start going, too, as he was spending over £40 at Ruffians, and he was really pleased with the results. Men's cut is less than £20. read more
